Designers gave the house a wood-and-steel façade that blends traditional and industrial elements. This home’s noteworthy steel shipping container construction material, offers a streamlined aesthetic and industrial vibe, with sustainable attributes and strength. Recycled shipping containers are fireproof, impervious to water and stronger than traditional building materials. Inside, muscular concrete walls, burnished cedar beams and custom oak cabinetry give the living spaces definition, decorative might, and storage and seating options.

Black honed granite counter tops are balanced by dark accents through out the space like the slat-back island stools, lantern pendant fixtures above, and bronze hardware on doors.
The light stone on the kitchen island work beautifully with white cabinets, Nickel pulls, and Nickel plumbing fixtures.
The kitchen's honed stone counter top is repeated at the pass-through to the dining room. The counter top is supported by curvy decorative brackets that are a great balance to the rectilinear characteristics of the shaker style kitchen cabinets.
Architectural millwork and column at Dining Room entry add a traditional element to this relaxed space.
The combinations of all these finishes bring personalty and warmth to the home.

Costa Bella BuildersAptos Addition and Major Remodel. Our goal on this project was to provide the owners with the larger kitchen and additional bedrooms they needed for their growing family of five. The existing house was small, but they had a good sized lot in the Cliff Drive neighborhood along the ocean bluffs in Rio Del Mar which we were able to utilize.. Our team designed an extension of the existing house into the rear yard area, allowing for a new master suite and creating separate bedrooms for the children. The old kitchen was expanded and reconceived to create an inviting and open family room area with commercial appliances to support the client’s passion for great Italian cooking. Her decorating concept combining Modern Farmhouse themes with contemporary fixtures and finishes resulted in the beautiful, light, and comfortable home you see in these photographs.
GramophoneThe client had a finished basement space that was not functioning for the entire family. He spent a lot of time in his gym, which was not large enough to accommodate all his equipment and did not offer adequate space for aerobic activities. To appeal to the client's entertaining habits, a bar, gaming area, and proper theater screen needed to be added. There were some ceiling and lolly column restraints that would play a significant role in the layout of our new design, but the Gramophone Team was able to create a space in which every detail appeared to be there from the beginning. Rustic wood columns and rafters, weathered brick, and an exposed metal support beam all add to this design effect becoming real.

Bakes & Kropp Fine CabinetryBakes & Kropp remodeled this former showhouse kitchen to reflect the personalities of its owners—and with 450 square feet to work with, the team had plenty of space to be creative. The kitchen now includes two sinks, two dishwashers, two fridges, and a large French Top stove to support the owner’s preferred cooking style. The space is elegant but comfortable and carefully blends a mixture of walnut, painted cabinetry, stone, and metal accents.
Just a few standout design details include the walnut ceiling patterning, the metal mesh overlay on the cabinet doors sourced from Armac Martin, and a custom range hood unlike any the Bakes & Kropp team had created before.

Archadeck of Northeast DallasUnder the protective shade and sun roof configuration, we installed a Tongue and Groove Pine ceiling with walnut stain finish that now hosts an outdoor room span with 32 can lights, 8 fans, 5 porch lights, 6 heaters, 15 switches, and 15 outlets. To support this significant outdoor living upgrade in Rowlett, our expert patio building team installed a new subpanel to accommodate a new electric meter.
A to Z Construction Inc.In the prestigious Beverly Hills project, we embarked on a comprehensive renovation that involved a complete gutting and transformation of the house. By removing support walls within the kitchen area, we successfully created a spacious and open kitchen layout, optimizing functionality and visual appeal. Additionally, our team undertook the complete remodeling of five bathrooms and a powder room, ensuring a seamless blend of luxury and functionality. The installation of custom-made wood windows and elegant engineered floors throughout the entire house added a touch of sophistication and cohesiveness to the overall design.
