The homeowners decided to update their kitchen with new cabinets to give it a more transitional look. They went with the Bridgewood Advantage Mission Shaker door done in Maple. The wall cabinets were done in painted white while the base cabinets were done in grey. We also installed a white Quartzite countertop along with a white glass subway tile backsplash. Some additional items we installed were a 5 shelf Pantry pull out, 3 stacked to the ceiling base and wall pullout units next to fridge, a double 50qt waste pullout, the Hardware Resources Blind Corner swing out, 2 stacked wine cubes, base and wall spice pullouts to left of range, Sheet Pan organizer to right of range, double pullout shelves in peninsula cabinets, Pot & Pan organizer in peninsula cabinets, pullout shelf in outside door of peninsula and under mount & accent lighting.
Stacked Shaker Crown was custom installed, and continued throughout the dining room for a seamless transition. We also recreated the Shaker look with custom made battens on all end panels. Base, wall and tall cabinets as well as Microwave placard were trimmed with custom made battens to simulate the shaker doors. To complete the look a new oak hardwood floor was also installed.

We took this unfinished attic and turned it into a master suite full of whimsical touches. There is a round Hobbit Hole door that leads to a carpeted play room for the kids, a rope swing and 2 secret bookcases that are opened when you pull the secret Harry Potter books.

Below the soccer field, a hillside of reclaimed stumps and planks invite playful alternatives to the stairs for traversing the hillside. Near the trampoline below, custom fabricated swings and a pull-up bar frame the views of the cemetery with its beautiful mature trees, and invite the kids to romp and play together through native and low-water plantings that attract pollinators - and even nesting bald eagles! And when the kids need a break, a custom drinking fountain near locally-reclaimed timber benches invites thirsty two- and four-legged playmates to have a rest.

Resting upon a 120-acre rural hillside, this 17,500 square-foot residence has unencumbered mountain views to the east, south and west. The exterior design palette for the public side is a more formal Tudor style of architecture, including intricate brick detailing; while the materials for the private side tend toward a more casual mountain-home style of architecture with a natural stone base and hand-cut wood siding.
Primary living spaces and the master bedroom suite, are located on the main level, with guest accommodations on the upper floor of the main house and upper floor of the garage. The interior material palette was carefully chosen to match the stunning collection of antique furniture and artifacts, gathered from around the country. From the elegant kitchen to the cozy screened porch, this residence captures the beauty of the White Mountains and embodies classic New Hampshire living.
