A young couple bought a one bedroom apartment near Lincoln center that was a perfect size for two but needed a design makeover to make it more accommodating for overnight guests. We faced a challenge to design a room that would both provide privacy to guests while maintaining the sweeping city views when the room isn't occupied. We solved this by designing walls of switchable glass panels. Each glass wall can change appearance with the flip of a switch - transparent to enjoy the view, milky white and opaque for privacy. Throughout the apartment, custom wood millwork covers the window HVAC units in each room, turning the corner in the master bedroom to morph into an integrated his/hers closet, TV console, and desk.

Stained glass also has interesting design elements. It has an antique, old world appearance that can create an ambiance of elegance and refinement for your home. When the sun catches stained glass, it shimmers beautifully with prismatic light that irresistibly draws your attention. That’s what makes it perfect for setting a focal point in your bathroom. This homeowner decided to install stained glass over their standalone bathtub. This was a smart design move because as you can tell, it sets the stage for an almost Victorian like design for their bathroom. Even if you opt for a more contemporary design, your window will still add elegance to the room.

Average clear indoor or outdoor room partitions or wall partitions are nothing new. Textured cast glass privacy screens or privacy walls bring an entirely new look to your space. To provide privacy or to open up a room - partitions never looked so good! Featured texture is "Aqua Large" on bronze colored glass.

The master bathroom includes a free-standing soaking tub that looks out onto the back yard. The windows are switchable liquid crystal privacy glass.
