This beautiful, museum quality bathroom reveals green in places you wouldn't expect. The walnut cabinets are locally crafted from a fallen tree, and these sustainably quarried countertops are made of domestic soapstone! On top of that, these glorious windows are not only energy efficient, but approved by the Roland Park Association. We also improved the air quality and ventilation. What else could a homeowner ask for? Well, the meticulous deconstruction of the pre-existing historic window and fixtures, and extensive re-use of materials yielded a hefty tax deduction.

Our designer has achieved a stylish look by combining dark cabinets and light-colored marbles.

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. If you hate your brick or just want something unique this is a great option!

The solid walnut staircase rises up from the elegant,
herringbone patterned hardwood floors and pairs beautifully with the figured walnut back-paneled wall. The custom railing serves as an exclamation point to the rich design.

This modern bathroom wall is a very dark grey tile made from recycled stone dust. Its color is PB 3106 Dark Grey and is in the brushed texture.

Dan Davis Design created a custom shaped marble counter for this tiny powder room. A small polished nickel vessel bowl is the star. A wall faucet set into a mirrored backsplash provides a room-saving solution while visually opening up the room. Graphic tile from Cercan tile adds interest and pattern.

Renovation of a master bath suite, dressing room and laundry room in a log cabin farm house.
The laundry room has a fabulous white enamel and iron trough sink with double goose neck faucets - ideal for scrubbing dirty farmer's clothing. The cabinet and shelving were custom made using the reclaimed wood from the farm. A quartz counter for folding laundry is set above the washer and dryer. A ribbed glass panel was installed in the door to the laundry room, which was retrieved from a wood pile, so that the light from the room's window would flow through to the dressing room and vestibule, while still providing privacy between the spaces.
