The homeowners wanted a more rustic and natural look for the porch floor, to satisfy this request we installed a KDAT pressure treated wooden floor. KDAT is kiln-dried to give you the appearance of a composite with the natural beauty and character of real wood. Dried to its original moisture content in a controlled environment, the wood dries evenly to minimize the natural tendency of freshly treated lumber to shrink, cup or warp. For added impact, Archadeck of NE Dallas-Southlake also installed the flooring using a patchwork design. We stained the floor in Dark Walnut and used extra Walnut along the border for contrast.

ZERO HEIGHT, ZERO PROBLEM. | Flush fitting shower trays are appreciated by design-conscious bathroom users. In the past, such shower trays had a tendency to pose installation challenges. Now, Duravit has introduced its solution – which allows for installation after fl oor tiles have been set. A height-adjustable frame makes it possible to achieve a perfectly-suited space for the tray, while its outlet can be precisely positioned by means of a template. A new and completely watertight drain system prevents the possibility of water damage and if need be, the tray can be removed later to provide access for servicing. | Design by Frank Huster | Available at www.ShopStudio41.com

Granite is lustrous, rich, and crystalline, can be honed to a gloss, is smooth to the touch, very hard and 100% natural.
Quartz is lustrous, deep and dimensional and can be honed to desired gloss. It’s smooth to the touch and hard, but can scorch. Quartz is 93% natural and 7% manmade.
Marble is deep, rich and illuminating, and polishes to a very high gloss. While beautiful and very hard, marble does have a higher tendency to scratch and scorch. Marble is 100% natural.
Solid Surface is uniform and has a matte-like structure. It’s never glossy and can scratch, but it’s sandable. Solid Surface provides texture, and seams are mostly invisible. Solid Surface is 66% natural and 33% polymers.

Allison and her team at Plumb Crazy Inc. created a stunning bathroom using mosaic style tiles that continued from the shower wall to the side of the tub and bathroom floor.

This home was in urgent need of a landscape renovation because the large ficus trees were destroying the driveway. And the overall look of the old plants certainly didn't show off the house. Once all the old plants were removed, the messy ficus trees were replaced with Japanese fern trees, which can be maintained at a size that keeps the house visible from the street - an important safety consideration. Layers of flowers were planted underneath the trees including golden shrimp plants, purple ruellia (no longer used because if it's invasive tendencies) and cranberry pentas. Pamela Crawford designed and installed the makeover. Discover thousands of ideas on Pamela's web site, pamela-crawford.com. Pamela designs landscapes, container gardens, and outdoor living areas throughout Palm Beach County, FL, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, the town of Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Wellington. New Electric collection of Atelier Tapis Rouge is meant to become a breakthrough of contemporary interior design. Based on the philosophy of natural light spectrum it harmoniously combines smoothness of organic forms, scientific creation basis and unique technology of production. This winning combination guarantees harmonious coexistence of futuristic design and sustainable approach changing the perception of rug from an interior design piece into an art object.
Unique trinity between intelligent natural forms, advance technology and science of material production became solid basis for absolutely new period of Design in 80-90s, being brilliantly expressed by timeless artists as Zacha Khadid (in architecture) or for instance Ross Legrove in technologic and later in fashion design.
The attraction and subtle elegance of organic shapes has been continuously growing bringing to the world new solutions for fashion and interior design. Following this tendence, we have created a futuristic collection of rugs, philosophical basis of which is the theory of photon spectrum. In chase of inspiration, we addressed behavior characteristics of each of 4 light rays caused by photon speed and as a result of this thorough work our Electric collection “saw the light”.
