Ca. 1919 Craftsman Style Home, Revisioned by the South’s Leading Designers Twenty‐two leading interior designers from three different states completely restored this historic home on Franklin’s historic Main Street as part of the O’More Show House, which was opened to the public from May 12‐27, 2016 and presented by leading sponsor, PARKS. This is the third O’More Show House event in recent years, with participating designers having ties to O’More College of Design in downtown Franklin and proceeds benefiting the College’s School of Interior Design. The 2016 home, a 5,200 square‐foot ca. 1919 brick and stucco Craftsman‐style cottage, is a significant contributing property to the National Register‐listed Hincheyville Historic District. The owners have undertaken a total renovation of the home’s interior while leaving the street‐view exterior intact. We were recommended to project managers and O'More College for the entire landscape design and installation: landscaping, irrigation, lighting, paver walks and patios, paver-raised porch with steps, paver banding in driveway!

To create this cozy window seat we cut into the wall and added a window. The seat opens for storage. What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house. Driving down to this small house on the water, we immediately saw the potential of what it could become. With access to the beach and a boathouse at the sea level, this large property had a lot to offer. The re-design for this meant expanding on what was already here by stepping up the square footage, increasing the level of finish and capitalizing on the fantastic views. Our development of the house included increasing the footprint by adding a complete and well-appointed main-level Primary bedroom suite, an office, mud room, laundry and powder room. Downstairs we renovated the space into a gym and media room with views, 3 new bedrooms. To round out the house we added a three-car garage with a car-lift in the third bay.

A young family in a new development and wanting more out of their home decided to remodel the 2500 square feet of unfinished space in their basement. Their goals were to have a future au-pair suite, large entertainment area, multi -seating spaces, a gym, and last but not the least, a state-of-the- art home theater. Additionally, they have been accustomed to large gatherings with 50 and more guests, so it was essential to have a large bar/kitchenette area serving the dual purpose. The highlight of this renovation is the new home movie theatre. Complete with HD screen, projector and sound system, the motif for the room is the Renaissance, complete with fluted columns and arched panel walls. Double wood theatre doors open to theatre seating featuring burgundy leather theatre recliners. This residential roof deck was lots of fun to design and build. Amenities for any rooftop patio can have a wide range of options and Rooftopia enjoys personalizing all of our features for each of our clients based on the project goals, the existing architecture and the best layout to optimize the space. This spacious third story deck incorporates many customized outdoor features. Rooftopia designed and fabricated a large steel pergola with custom plasma-cut metal screens to cover the dining area, protecting it from the harsh sun. The custom outdoor kitchen with concrete counters, includes finished cabinets for lots of storage, stainless cabinet doors and appliances, with a separate beverage center to house an outdoor refrigerator and ice maker, for all your party needs! Rooftopia designed and installed a Renson louvered pergola over the seating and lounge area of the deck to add a solid waterproof cover with an outdoor fan. The louvered pergola has more flexibility to open and allow light over the roof or remain closed for full shade and rain protection. We integrated automated retractable fabric screens into both pergola systems to enclose the space and provide shade against the western sun. The beautiful shadows and ambient light in this gorgeous rooftop outdoor space make this perfectly warm and glowy in the afternoon. Rooftopia installed ornamental metal screens for privacy, shade and as screening to hide utilities. Modern and durable fiberglass planter boxes are filled with a mix of native perennials and annual flowers, edible plants (strawberries, tomatoes & herbs) to bring the beauty of nature into this urban getaway. The planters are installed with an automated watering system for low maintenance care. We added outdoor patio lights, and low voltage LED fixtures to illuminate the beautiful evening details.
