Family members enter this kitchen from the mud room where they are right at home in this friendly space.
The Kitchens central banquette island seats six on cozy upholstered benches with another two diners at the ends. There is table seating for EIGHT plus the back side boasts raised seating for four more on swiveling bar stools.
The show-stopping coffered ceiling was custom designed and features beaded paneling, recessed can lighting and dramatic crown molding.
The counters are made of Labradorite which is often associated with jewels. It's iridescent sparkle adds glamour without being too loud.
The wood paneled backsplash allows the cabinetry to blend in. There is glazed subway tile behind the range.
This lovely home features an open concept space with the kitchen at the heart. Built in the late 1990's the prior kitchen was cherry, but dark, and the new family needed a fresh update.
This great space was a collaboration between many talented folks including but not limited to the team at Delicious Kitchens & Interiors, LLC, L. Newman and Associates/Paul Mansback, Inc with Leslie Rifkin and Emily Shakra. Additional contributions from the homeowners and Belisle Granite.

A close-up look at the fine craftsmanship that defines this living space. The focus highlights the intricate ball-turned wood leg detailing on the upholstered armchair, paired perfectly with the sleek silhouette of a three-legged bronze pedestal table. Set against the soft texture of a blue-grey rug, these curated pieces showcase the interplay of metallic finishes and traditional woodwork that bring a sophisticated, tactile layer to the room. Kitchen/dining room combo - large coastal light wood floor kitchen/dining room combo idea in San Diego with white walls

The concrete "slate" look bistro table is cast in three pieces. The legs interlock...one slipping over the other. The table top which measures 36" in diameter rests on the legs...a gravity connection. The table is constructed of very strong and high performance concrete and then sealed. It is durable, but, lightweight at less than 100 pounds. Because it can be disassembled, it is easily moved. The table is perfect for outdoors, but, is attractive enough it can be used indoors as well.

JF's Matthew Lord designed a simple and stylish eating space for the breakfast area. It included built in banquettes with under-seat storage that are paneled to mimic the cabinetry and also painted white. The antique Oak breakfast table is reminiscent of a picnic table, especially with the large window looking out to the yard.

This home is a modern farmhouse on the outside with an open-concept floor plan and nautical/midcentury influence on the inside! From top to bottom, this home was completely customized for the family of four with five bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms spread over three levels of 3,998 sq. ft. This home is functional and utilizes the space wisely without feeling cramped. Some of the details that should be highlighted in this home include the 5” quartersawn oak floors, detailed millwork including ceiling beams, abundant natural lighting, and a cohesive color palate.

The client wanted to reinvent this living room so that it would be used as a reading, gathering room. The goal for this living room was to create a calming respite by way of a transitional design aesthetic and a sophisticated appeal. I used the existing photographic art as a taking off point for the selection of some timeless updated pieces. The washed dhurrie rug, black accent tables and rattan sideboard created the sophistication that was desired. Custom throw pillows give a layer of pattern and color to finish the look. Starts at a standard table height of 27-1/2" when fully extended at 20 degrees, then a counter height of 28-27/32" at 10 degrees, then a standing vertical height of 29-1/4" when fully upright. Transition between bar, counter, and desk heights with a simple pivot of the Twister Top Plate.
Beautifully finished tapered wood leg with rounded base included. Round bottom allows the leg to glide outwards for the lower settings without compromising the structural integrity of the assembly.
Wood Legs with TP/TW (twister top plate) can hold 80 lbs. each.
Wood species: Maple, Cherry and Mahogany.
Note: Because every piece of wood is unique, the color may vary.
