We constructed dry stacked retaining walls with Silioam stone, which is native to southern Colorado. We culled through the material to find the best pieces to fit, and hand sized and faced each piece of stone for a finished fit. Four men spent over a month setting the walls at the proper elevations. While this process was tedious and time consuming, we are happy with the even, flowing appearance of the walls that resulted.

We have been in business since November 1998 and started in the window covering business by cleaning & repairing blinds. This gave us a unique perspective from most window covering dealers. We have always considered how well products hold up and which manufacturers stand behind their products the best. We let our clients know the benefits of more expensive products and give honest feedback. We take pride in showing alternative products to fit all budgets. We also give our customers an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturers guarantee! Our great testimonials on Angie’s List, Houzz.com and referrals have helped our company grow without the need for “conventional” advertising. Abda means ‘servant’. At Abda, we approach every customer with a servant’s attitude. This philosophy has helped our customers feel confident in their purchases and well-taken care of. Our number one focus is customer service and we believe in putting the customer’s needs first. We offer our clients an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty and want each and every client to be completely happy with their purchase. We’ve been awarded the prestigious 2013 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately 5 percent of all the businesses rated on the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews. We’ve grown over the years and have added more team members to our company and we’re very excited at the direction our company is going. Before renovating this room, the wood paneling was stained and it looked very dated. As an affordable and less time consuming option to refinishing it, I painted the wall paneling. Then, I removed shutters that looked very visually heavy and installed woven wood shades with a privacy liner. Using a neutral foundation, I added color with accessories and art.

This small shade was only the first step of an enormous project this couple is working on. They are making their backyard an oasis little by little. Next step is the pool, then the thatch cabana, and then a palapa. We always wait on the client and install when it fits best with their schedule. We know creating a backyard paradise is costly, time consuming, and stressful. So we work with YOU and according to your schedule and time line. But this couple knew it was important to add this Shade for Two asap to enjoy the rest of our warm summer days in the shade

Currey and Company Denison 4 Light Chandelier in Mole Black The Denison Lantern is a perfect example of a simple form executed with the purity of a natural material - wrought iron. The hammered metal and the hand-applied Mole Black finish call attention to the importance and beauty of this simple material . The classic uncomplicated shape delivers presence with the strength of the lines. The clean simple lines is reminiscent of design trends of the past. The hand finishing process used on this chandelier lends an air of depth and richness not achieved by less time-consuming methods.

CHATHAM MARSHVIEW HOUSE This Cape Cod green home provides a destination for visiting family, support of a snowbird lifestyle, and an expression of the homeowner’s energy conscious values. Looking over the salt marsh with Nantucket Sound in the distance, this new home offers single level living to accommodate aging in place, and a strong connection to the outdoors. The homeowners can easily enjoy the deck, walk to the nearby beach, or spend time with family, while the house works to produce nearly all the energy it consumes. The exterior, clad in the Cape’s iconic Eastern white cedar shingles, is modern in detailing, yet recognizable and familiar in form. I originally wanted to hang glass canning jars but the only light wiring I could find (Ikea was the best place) was for a regular sized light bulb. I wanted a chandelier size. So, I switched to these lovely (already painted) plant pots from the same place. It adds a punch of colour to the white ceiling and I don't have to worry about any glass breaking. NOTE: When spray painting a space like this, opt to rent a better spray painter, rather than buy one off the shelf. Painting the ceiling with a brush or roller is difficult and time consuming, and the sprayer I had was ineffective.
