This new construction design was centered around a functional workspace for the cook! We designed prep/clean stations, cooking station and baking station to support the way the kitchen is used. Durable, timeless materials were used to ensure longevity. Classic white kitchen will not date and provide a neutral backdrop for all seasons of the year.

In this Lake Forest master bathroom remodel, elegance meets functionality in a design that feels as though it has always belonged to the home. The centerpiece is a stunning glass-enclosed walk-in shower, featuring floor-to-ceiling marble tile accented with a custom mosaic inlay. The marble continues onto the vanity countertop, creating a harmonious flow throughout the space. Every detail — from the polished chrome fixtures to the beveled glass mirrors — was chosen to reflect a timeless sophistication while incorporating the conveniences of modern living. The double vanity offers generous storage with rich espresso cabinetry, bringing warmth and contrast against the cooler marble tones. Above, crystal-accented sconces and a delicate chandelier cast a flattering light, making daily routines feel like a moment of indulgence. The blend of soft, neutral walls with crisp white trim frames the space beautifully, allowing the finishes to take center stage without overwhelming the senses. This remodel was designed not only for beauty but also for enduring quality. We gave this master bedroom an industrial modern vibe with reclaimed wood four poster bed, reclaimed wood and iron nightstands, and a leather and iron bench. We warmed things up by adding a navy tetured grasscloth wallpaper accent wall, pendant lighting from Arteriors and a shag rug from Surya.

DOWNLOAD NOW   This large kitchen had a lot going for it in terms of the large open space and work triangle, however the honey oak cabinets and laminate countertops left a lot to be desired. The small range was replaced with a large pro-style cooktop. Space from an existing pantry was reworked to allow for the addition of double ovens, refrigerator and butler pantry type storage. A new larger window was added and relocated to allow for better placement of the sink, and a bar area was redesigned into a more functional and visually pleasing area. This young family wanted a unique design that was not a “cookie cutter” space. To accomplish this, Klimala designed a large custom hood flanked by large storage cabinets. The hood area is a steel gray repeating the color of the island giving each of those areas equal weight and a sense of balance. The large island that houses storage and a microwave drawer is topped with a walnut butcher block. The walnut is repeated at the mantle hood and in some shallow shelving for spice storage near the cooktop. Hardworking gray quartz countertops were chosen for the rest of the space and gray limestone brick adds some texture to the backsplash area. The unique circular glass mosaic tile at the cooktop provides a stunning focal point. Globe shaped pendants repeat the circle theme above the island.
