They first asked me advice on a new structure, the space they desired the playlet was odd and surround large Oak trees. We recommended a 'franensteining' the 2 original structures, around the trees like a tree fort. A new coat of paint and the old structures had a new life. A small piece of artificial sod was add under the slide to soften the landing and avoid cutting the existing concrete.

We regraded area and added over 15,000 ft.² of usable lawn. A complete playground with a trampoline. Removed over 20 yards of ivy. Installed over 250 feet of emerald green hedge. Installed 24 zone automatic sprinkler system. Removed 4 65' trees including stumps that averaged 3 cubic yards in diameter. Installed landscape lighting. Installed over 30 yards of stamped concrete that matched colors of existing home. Manufactured and Installed electronic gate and connected it to existing security system.

Snow Creek Consort A forest’s textured layers of bark upon the trunk of a tree and the variation of shadow and light through a tree’s leaves inspired a warm and cozy natural home. Focusing on natural reclaimed materials, rich colors and idea of layering rustic elements with mid century modern objects create the aura of the space through grand architectural elements and delicate modern moments. The desire to create a home away from the busy city life allowed for an easy going rural retreat to emerge and blend in with the mountainous environment around.

This backyard for a townhouse in Manhattan’s West Village is made for entertaining and relaxation! Our re-design of the space included artificial turf to replace a failing lawn, updated plantings, overhead string lighting, and new lawn furniture. The existing plantings of boxwoods and birch trees, while healthy, were a little bland and boring looking, so we spiced up the plantings by adding more color, texture, and variety to the space. Our design plans included purple heuchera, gold hakone grass, creeping Jenny, rhododendrons, and a coral-bark maple tree. We picked a high-end, eco-friendly (petroleum free) artificial turf that looks exactly like real grass and is maintenance-free.
