This laundry room needed a little facelift with refacing the cabinet doors and swapping out the outdated countertop to a simple quartz. These two simple changes elevated the space tremendously for our client.

A great example of a front yard makeover that turns a simple sloped front yard with old dead grass and a couple of trees into a functional, beautiful stepped yard that still incorporates some grass but also stepped raised planters, natural rock, and wide substantial concrete steps and sitting areas for tremendous curb appeal!!!

This dark and dated 1980’s kitchen and family room area was completely transformed into a large open space. The homeowners had a lot of great ideas and we worked together as a team to completely reimagine the entire layout. Previously closed off, the kitchen is now open to the family room making it a great space for family and entertaining A massive engineered beam was installed between the kitchen and family room allowing the wall separating the kitchen and family room to be removed and allowing more natural light into the space. The laundry room located off the kitchen was relocated so that area can function as a smaller kitchen that houses a second dishwasher, small appliances, a walk-in pantry and tons of storage. We also added an exterior door so the homeowners could have easy access to their herb garden. Twin doors to this small kitchen allow this area to be easily closed off if needed. Dated built-ins were removed on either side of the fireplace and the walls were framed out on either side to bring the walls forward and to allow that cabinet space to be used in the newly relocated laundry room. Venetian plaster was used to finish the fireplace giving it a clean modern look. Wide 5 inch plank white oak floors were installed throughout which help tremendously with lightening up the entire area. The bar was updated to match the kitchen and the stained shiplap wall adds warmth and interest behind the new white cabinets. Mixing metals with brass hardware and light fixtures and beautifully stainless appliances creates a timeless look.

Reclaimed ‘Basalt’ pavers by Architectural Stone Decor.

The ancient Basalt pavers have been reclaimed from different locations across the Mediterranean making them unique and stunning in their charcoal black textures.
This volcanic rock comes in random sizes and could be installed in either a running bond formation or a random one.
Their durable nature makes them an excellent choice for driveways because they can withstand tremendous pressure and weight (such as that of vehicles) and oil leaks will not affect the aesthetics of this stole because of its charcoal color.

Situated in German Village this garden consists of an extensive perennial garden that has taken the place of the lawn. While creating their new home, our clients asked us to create an independant living area for their daughter that would be wheelchair accessible, while not looking like it came from an ADA guidebook. We first created a small kitchenette with all major components within easy reach, then a small but wide open laundry area. Finally we developed this tremendous craft and entertainment area for our incredible young lady to share her hobbies and passions with her visitors. The navy blue cabinets really add a punch of color to the rustic oak cabinets, while in the kitchen, the aluminum doors up top bring in a sense of modern. The centerpiece of the craft room is the Richelieu party table that unfolds out to almost 6 feet in length, or can be completely stowed away in the drawer space of the cabinet. We were thrilled to be able to create such a beautiful space for a beautiful lady!

This customer wanted the Renovisions Team to create a home office/ Library away from his Boston office in the hustle & bustle of the city. He also wanted to use this space to entertain colleagues and guests when visiting from out of state.
He approached us requesting to have this newly re-built space to have the look and feel of a Montana lodge he recently visited.
First, we removed the existing ceiling to open up the space and finish as a cathedral ceiling. We added a large ridge beam which was wrapped in rustic wood to give it an old world look. Several recessed lights were installed on dimmer switches and 2 ceiling fans were installed along the ridge beam for air circulation.
The idea was to create a cozy organic outdoor natural feel by incorporating rustic wide plank oak flooring with a dark walnut stain and high gloss finish to create an old, antique look which gave a lived in and comfortable feel to the room.
Custom bookcases which were painted antique white were built to accommodate this homeowner’s extensive and growing collection of books.
A chimney was built from floor to ceiling and New England Fieldstone was applied to the front. A gas fireplace was installed featuring Herringbone brick inside with an arched top design atop the raised stone hearth. With just a touch of a button on a remote control these homeowners have a lifelike flame and tremendous heat to warm up any cold winter day or night
The homeowners were elated with this very comfortable, inviting room “Renovision” and now have a wonderful retreat their entire family and guests can enjoy.
What a fabulous natural setting to showcase this customer’s bear skin rug collection!

This home is located in the in the heart of Northcenter and situated on an oversized lot with a tremendous view of a landscaped backyard garden. The client’s desire was to open the back kitchen wall to take advantage of the garden view and to incorporate the kitchen into the rest of the home. By adding a 3’-0” deep addition at the sink wall and increasing the overall size of the windows, Vesta was able to expand the views and to open the floor plan to create a functional island. The island in turn, added space for food prep & prep sink along with casual seating. By removing the adjoining Dining Room wall, Vesta created an open floor plan that enhanced the Owners everyday living experiences. The new Dining Buffet added storageand a visual break while maintaining the open feel. By using warm horizontal walnut tones, it allowed a reference back to the original mid-century feel of the décor of the home. Adding playful highlights of apple green, we took advantage of a palette that brought the natural outside elements back into the environment.
