This two-tier, newly remodeled pool belongs to Dane Palmero, the owner of Overflow Pool Construction & Repair located in Phoenix, AZ. Siri Blanchette/Blind Dog Photo Associates This kids bath has all the fun of a sunny day at the beach. In a contemporary way, the details in the room are nautical and beachy. The color of the walls are like a clear blue sky, the vanity lights look like vintage boat lights, the vanity top looks like sand, and the shower walls are meant to look like a sea shanty with weathered looking wood grained tile plank walls and a shower "window pane" cubby with hand painted tiles designed by Marcye that look like a view out to the beach. The floor is bleached pebbles with hand painted sea creature tiles placed randomly for the kids to find.

This outdoor bathtub is the perfect tropical escape. The large natural stone tub is nestled into the tropical landscaping at the back of the his and her's outdoor showers, and carefully tucked between the two rock walls dividing the showers from the main back yard. Loose flowers float in the tub and a simple teak stool holds a fresh white towel. The black pebble pathway lined with puka pavers leads back to the showers and Master bathroom beyond.

PebbleTec Tropical Breeze built by Charlotte Pools & Spas

There are some pool projects where the customer comes to us with a budget rather than a vision. Such was the case with this stunning backyard outdoor entertainment paradise. With this particular project, we worked with the home's developer to create a backyard oasis that was every bit as stunning as the home itself. Working with a pre-determined budget, we had a few design parameters - there had to be an outdoor kitchen/entertainment area that could be used throughout most of the year. A spa was also on the list and they wanted the overall design of the pool area to be in perfect sync with the exterior of the home. With that as a base, we set to work, creating a pool area that became a natural extension of the home, along with a covered outdoor kitchen/entertainment area that would be a welcome respite when temperatures cool off as well as an ideal place for family and friends to cook, dine, relax and unwind. The stamped concrete pool deck has ample room for patio furniture where there are plenty of large umbrellas to provide cover from the sun. Two waterfalls, one that spills from the spa into the pool and the other that features a sheer descent coming from the lush planter, add a touch of elegance to the overall look. The free form pool features skyline blue tile and a gorgeous, Tropical Breeze PebbleTec plaster finish. A retaining wall was built around the outside perimeter of the pool area where the lush landscaping frames out this backyard oasis. The final result is an outdoor area that will provide year-round entertainment on a grand scale. And all delivered within the original budget parameters.
