The large tiled Travertine wall meets a smaller scaled subway tile to connect the shower to the vanity wall. The vanity was designed to compliment a free standing piece of bedroom furniture. The shaker drawers marry the traditional details with an oversized contemporary build up of the counter. A trough sink equipped with two faucets addresses the challenge of ‘his and hers’ sinks in a master. The uninterrupted mirror length with built in sconces, further add to the concept of interconnecting the various functions of the bathroom.

Example of a mountain style beige tile and travertine tile pebble tile floor alcove shower design in Sacramento with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, a two-piece toilet, beige walls and white countertops

The shower includes dual shower areas, four body spray tiles (two on each side) and a large glass surround keeping the uncluttered theme for the room while still offering privacy with an etched “belly band” around the perimeter. The etching is only on the outside of the glass with the inside being kept smooth for cleaning purposes.
The end result is a bathroom that is luxurious and light, with nothing extraneous to distract the eye. The peaceful and quiet ambiance that the room exudes hit exactly the mark that the clients were looking for.

The floors are white wood look a like ceramic tiles and gray matching wood look a like tile baseboards.
The center piece of the whole bathroom is the shower, using vertical chevron style tile gives the feeling of space and at the same time the chevron shape adds depth.
for the accent of the shower unit we used mosaic 3D shapes of limestone tile and to finish it off a stainless steel hidden drain and a Hansgrohe shower system.

We feel this is a great example of a beautiful kitchen remodel that did not require down-to-the-studs renovation. The changes to the cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, lighting and hardware completely transformed the look of the room. It’s now a relaxing space our clients love to use and look at from other rooms.Beautiful new cabinetry made the biggest impact on updating the kitchen. The new cabinet doors and drawer fronts are flat panel with beaded Shaker style. Brass hardware and lighting adds warmth to the space. The beautiful new blue backsplash added a relaxing touch to the room. And the custom vent hood and quartzite countertops are also stunners.
We were also able to keep elements that the homeowners loved, including their new refinished hardwood floors and wood wrapped kitchen island. Treating this renovation as a refacing saved our clients a lot of money. It was also more sustainable than a full remodel because refacing limited the amount of construction waste generated from the project.

This hall bath, prior to the remodel, was a 2 part bath with tub and toilet in one, and the vanity in the other part separated by a wall with a door. We turned it into one sinlge space. and with the use of handmade (irregular) subway tile and Carrara marble turned it into a monochromatic yet fresh and elegant hall bath with a soothing Spa-like ambience. Here you see how the herringbone band is carried across into and around the tub area.

FIRST PLACE 2018 ASID DESIGN OVATION AWARD / MASTER BATH OVER $50,000. In addition to a much-needed update, the clients desired a spa-like environment for their Master Bath. Sea Pearl Quartzite slabs were used on an entire wall and around the vanity and served as this ethereal palette inspiration. Luxuries include a soaking tub, decorative lighting, heated floor, towel warmers and bidet. Michael Hunter

Powder Room Shell tile, wallpaper, free standing vanity, hammered sink, wall mounted faucet, floating mirror, Ceiling light fixture by Horchow.

This couple’s main request was for a calming spa like ensuite bath.
The original floor plan was not changed but all the finishes and fixtures were replaced. Porcelain tile, glass and stone mosaic tile, custom vanities, new plumbing fixtures, shower and mirrors and lights replaced the builder grade materials. The new spa-like colour scheme and custom vanity table finished the room off – mission accomplished!
