About Sabine: Born in Germany and educated in Belgium and France, Sabine brings an international flair to her designs. Extensive travels throughout Europe, the Middle and Far East as well as South America have taught her to appreciate the art, architecture, decor and lifestyles of many diverse cultures. Besides holding a B.A. in Interior Design she also has a Master Degree in Dramatic and Media Arts. She has worked as documentary filmmaker for numerous years. This helped her to develop strong management and visualization skills. Her passion for design, attention to detail and excellence in artistic vision have earned her multiple awards, and - more important - a loyal repeat customer base. Design Statement: “I believe that home design is at its best when it blends style with function, elegance with comfort, the tried and tested with the unique and unexpected. I don’t believe in over-the-top décor and overstuffed rooms. Neither do I believe in homes that look and feel like museums, or high gloss advertisements. We've worked with Sabine in designing our outdoor living space, family room, and master bedroom. Sabine is professional, detailed, responsive, flexible, and easygoing. When a contractor made a mistake in our bedroom, she quickly helped resolve the issue. She listens and offers ideas/recommendations without being pushy. When deciding on designs or individual pieces, she offers several choices ranging in price so that we can choose something we like and fits within our budget. She patiently answers questions and explains her thought process. We're looking forward to designing our office and remaining bedrooms with her!

I can't recommend Sabine highly enough. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could. Not only is Sabine a wonderful designer with a fabulous eye but she is also a lovely person who cares not only about the quality of her work but also about the people she works with. My husband and I really had no idea what our style was initially, but Sabine was patient and able to tease it out and design a home that we love and that is unique & comfortable for our family, taking material choices into account given our kids and pets. I really appreciated that she asked in the beginning for a list of items in our home that were special to us and were "must-keeps" and she used furniture and items that we already had where possible and incorporated them into the overall design without overselling us and making us buy new stuff just because. She was good about staying within budget and coming up with lower and mid-range options if something was too expensive. We will definitely use Sabine again!

Sabine is wonderful to work with. She is so kind and patient and listens well to our ideas. She is very responsive by phone, email or text. She was with us every step of the way with our project including design, planning and coordinating work with our contractor. Finally, she helped with all the finishing touches and decorations. We are so happy with our final product.

Sabine recently helped me with a total remodel of my master bathroom which included a curbless walk-in shower. The whole project was very custom. I had many special and out of the ordinary requests. Several of them not commonly available. If I mentioned something to her she would research it until she found an attractive and functional way to make it happen. Some requests complicated the construction process. But, she always managed to find a way to make it happen. She kept the project moving along and co-ordinated the various professionals. Throughout the process she was easy to work with in a collaborative manner. In the end, I have a beautiful and functional bathroom with all the unique features that I needed. When I show the bathroom to my friends their comments are often “What a great idea” or “Beautiful”

I learned of KK Design Koncepts by way of a friend of a friend when I wanted help with a kitchen facelift. Sabine turned out to be a breath of fresh air in terms of her confident-yet-personable nature, her aesthetic sense, her practicality, and her unfailing ability to field my opinions and concerns, I can be stubborn and I am not an easy person to read, but Sabine's enthusiasm and flexibility were unexpected assets that helped bring out the best in me when things did not always go as planned. We recently remodeled our master bathroom and walk-in closet. We have worked with Sabine in the past in completing a living/dining room facelift. Based on that very excellent experience, she was our only choice to manage this project. Sabine is the utmost professional and truly a pleasure to work with. This project was our first chance to work with Sabine and we look forward to working with her again. As a custom cabinet and furniture company, we are often relied on to coordinate the other trades and find solutions for design details to make a project come together, but working with Sabine, her attention to detail, ability to coordinate and her capacity to see the finished product in advance left very little for us to do outside of creating the beautiful cabinetry and wood work that she designed for the residence.

Elements of Design Interiors

I have been working with KK Design Concepts for quite a while now as one of her workrooms. As a custom home furnishings workroom I have the pleasure of working with many interior designers and Sabine is definitely one of the best. She is easy to work with because she is extremely efficient, very detail oriented, highly organized and a great communicator. Together we have worked on several projects and each project has always been a success. Sabine has great talent when it comes to putting everything together, she has a vision for the end result in all of her projects, which reflects in her work.
