The Client wanted a fun, colorful office that also offered a relaxing vibe, closed storage, and gorgeous seating for herself and guests. While the space isn't huge, we went for bold character by wallpapering the ceiling, and then used more muted tones (greens, blues, tans, creams) on the walls, trim wallpaper, furniture, and rugs. The result? A spectacular space that the Client adores working, relaxing, or entertaining guests in. My Client shared she receives compliments any time she's on a video call - people want to know if she's working from a cool boutique hotel! #nomoreboringhomeoffices

This conference room was designed to support high-quality virtual collaboration with a seamless and intuitive user experience. The space features dual displays for enhanced content sharing, paired with a dedicated PTZ camera to ensure clear, professional video for remote participants. Advanced ceiling-mounted beamforming microphones capture voices naturally throughout the room, while a dedicated audio system with in-ceiling speakers delivers clear, balanced sound for both in-room and virtual communication. The result is a fully integrated environment where technology enhances collaboration without adding complexity, supporting both everyday meetings and high-level presentations.

In addition to a sophisticated audio and video distribution system throughout the entire house, the clients also wanted an extremely high-performing ultra modern theater that shared a central control system with the rest of the house. The house was designed with a clean contemporary look and the clients wanted the a/v equipment to blend into that. They wanted the latest technology and design of equipment, but also wanted the components out of view. Their vision was to have phenomenal acoustics integrated throughout the entire house without any equipment intrusion in any of the design spaces. By utilizing the Crestron 8x3 Video Distribution System, the Adagio Audio Distribution System, a combination of Crestron and RTI remote controls, and multiple sources including the Kaleidescape Audio and Video Servers, we were able to satisfy the clients in two ways; 1.) We were able to hang flat screens directly onto the walls thus honoring the sparse, contemporary style and the latest technology. 2.) We created a control room with two racks of equipment which controls the entire house and is conveniently out of sight. The only component necessary for operations were slick wireless remote controls where needed (family room, master bedroom , kitchen).

This photo is not one of Deck and Patio's projects. It is of an Aquascape Construction’s recreational pond that they built last fall in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and which they recently shared on Facebook and which we are using with permission. Here’s a link to a video of their amazing pond: https://youtu.be/Tej0QEeKQQg

A custom built-in media console accommodates books, indoor plants and other ephemera on open shelves above the TV, while hiding a video-game console, a/v components and other unsightly items in the closed storage below. The multi-functional family space serves as an extension of the adjacent bedroom shared by twin boys.

In a luxury living space, the last thing anyone wants to see is a large ugly TV over a fireplace. Teaming up with Interior Expressions of Oro Valley, Arizona and well known local artist Beth Zink and her incredible cactus flowers, we worked in collaboration to turn this TV into a motorized painting that rolls up to reveal the TV with a giclee canvas piece of art. Special thanks to all involved and especially the end clients for allowing us to share photos of this amazing space with the rest of the world. We are honored to have been a part of this fabulous space. See video and more of Beth Zinks art at https://FrameMyTV.com/tvart

This grand estate needed a gate that was beautiful and lightweight, yet functional and long lasting. Since the driveway opening was larger than normal, a double cantilever gate was recommended to increase functionality with less wear on the gate operator. The gate was fabricated using aluminum bars, finials and scrolls all set on top of our DuraGates CGA-345M track and CGA-350.5M carriages making the gate long lasting and beautiful for years to come. Thanks Acero Ornamental, Hillside, NJ for sharing your installation photos and videos.
