The finished lower level features a cozy theater room in a classic movie themed decor. MARGARITA BRAVOThe first thing you notice about this property is the stunning views of the mountains, and our clients wanted to showcase this. We selected pieces that complement and highlight the scenery. Our clients were in love with their brown leather couches, so we knew we wanted to keep them from the beginning. This was the focal point for the selections in the living room, and we were able to create a cohesive, rustic, mountain-chic space. The home office was another critical part of the project as both clients work from home. We repurposed a handmade table that was made by the client’s family and used it as a double-sided desk. We painted the fireplace in a gorgeous green accent to make it pop.
Finding the balance between statement pieces and statement views made this project a unique and incredibly rewarding experience.

A masterpiece of modern kitchen design - Imagine entering your kitchen and feeling like you're in an exclusive restaurant. The material aesthetics of the fronts and worktops, the appliances, and the accessories - are all perfectly coordinated. Such a kitchen can be not only a place where you prepare food but an experience for all the senses.
Designed and implemented in collaboration with the renowned kitchen studio Spies, Küchen & Mehr from Regensburg-Lappersdorf, the Black Backoffice Kitchen project is a stunning kitchen that is not only functional but also a true design gem. The kitchen blends unobtrusively into the slope of the second floor, which is also the living space. The purist tall unit with its passage door conceals the clients' home office behind it; here, the view opens up over the roofs of the neighborhood.
The eye-catcher is the modern portafilter coffee niche, which, like the island worktop, is also lined with natural stone (infinity brown). The cooking, dishwashing, and work island with the 86 base units opens up the view into the extraordinarily tastefully designed living space. The result is a perfect symbiosis of aesthetics and functionality.

Modern Smart HomesLocated on a lot along the Rocky River sits a 1,300 sf 24’ x 24’ two-story dwelling divided into a four square quadrant with the goal of creating a variety of interior and exterior experiences within a small footprint. The house’s nine column steel frame grid reinforces this and through simplicity of form, structure & material a space of tranquility is achieved. The opening of a two-story volume maximizes long views down the Rocky River where its mouth meets Lake Erie as internally the house reflects the passions and experiences of its owners.

Designing a Unique Space
For years, the Bronks had a clear idea of what their master suite should look like. Their unique design even began appearing on HGTV shows, much to their amusement. The layout was essential to accommodating their schedules without disturbing each other's sleep.
The house is ingeniously split into two units. The main living area features three bedrooms—one serves as Dale's home office, another as his wife's art studio, and the third is their master suite. Connected by a wall, there's a separate 700-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment with its own laundry, kitchen, and living room.
This separate apartment is home to their unique needs adult son. "Having a place where he's connected to the family but has his own autonomous space was crucial," Dale explained. The design includes a discreet connecting door for emergencies, promoting his independence while ensuring safety.

Collaboration with Reynard Custom Homes
With their master suite and apartment designs in place, the Bronks faced challenges with the rest of the layout. That's when Dale turned to Reynard Custom Homes. "I found Reynard through LinkedIn. We'd been in touch from a previous project, so I reached out. They were instrumental in bridging the gap between our ideas," Dale shared.
James from Reynard Custom Homes worked closely with the Bronks to refine their plans. "We had the apartment on one side and the master suite on the other. James helped us create a cohesive design that brought everything together beautifully."

Hicks Cazenave Interior DesignWe had the privilege of working on a lovely project for a young family at the Four Seasons Residences in downtown San Francisco.
We wanted to inject the client’s love of their recent vacations abroad into their new cityscape space. They were inspired by raw materials, textures, woven colors, and oceanside views, so we worked those into the designs along the skyline.
To bring their vision to life, we sourced incredibly unique pieces from bespoke and vintage SF showrooms and one-of-a-kind pieces we collected from abroad.
As with everything we take on, we invited the opportunity to challenge our palette with new materials and the opportunity to experiment with scale juxtaposed against expansive views.
