The Centenary President’s House was first constructed in the 1890’s in the wealthy Normandy Park neighborhood of Morristown. In 1910, the house was sold and carefully disassembled and reconstructed on the corner of Moore and Jefferson Streets in Hackettstown. In 1945, the property was purchased by Centenary Junior College and has served seven college presidents since then. On January 7, 2015 the house was irreparably damaged by fire. Ford 3 Architects was commissioned to design a new residence featuring similar details and characteristics as the original.

Wakefield, England was a wealthy market town in the Industrial Revolution. The elegance and affluence of its goods and people inspired this bright, but poised collection. Its stunning golds and silvers are surrounded by geometric structure, creating a style that is traditional and fashionable.

Leather tile is perceived as an elegant and even luxurious material, because it used to be very expensive and only wealthy people could afford to buy leather wall tiles in their home. of course, nowadays everyone can be able to afford but the image remained the same.

Generations before the first cameras, anyone lucky (and wealthy) enough to travel Europe collected this very artful souvenir. Small plaster stamps featuring intricate engravings or intaglios were all the rage for tourists of the 18th century. Our example faithfully reproduces the bust of Roman goddess Aurora ussuing from the clouds. This plaster treasure is mounted on muslin, accented with an inner gold filet, matted and placed in a gold-leaf frame. Its classic beauty will impress all those embarking on a grand tour of your home.

This home is one of the original “beach cottages” that made Larchmont an oceanside retreat for wealthy New Yorkers in the late 19th century.
Mature gardens need guidance so they stay in proportion to the homes they were meant to compliment. We removed, pruned or transplanted overgrown shrubs that had taken over some areas. Added interest to the entrance with a boxwood parterre, designed new perennial and cutting gardens by the tennis court and pool. We maintain, along with the landscape company, the integrity of the plantings.
