These slabs are cut from Big Leaf Maple Trees from the Canada West Coast. Big Leaf Maple is a rare tree that has a ton of character and beauty. It's also ideal for a variety of other uses such as to hold kitchenware, bathroom products or next to your bed as a floating nightstand. Each shelf comes fitted with a steel support brace with a support anchor made of 1/2" thick steel. Can support up to 50lbs per 24". (If mounted properly) Comes with all mounting screws #12 x 2.5". Drilled to accommodate studs 16"oc or 24"oc. Finished with 3 coats of OSMO Polyx Oil Finish to protect from moisture and other elements. Low VOC. Each live edge shelf is one-of-a-kind. Dimensions: Length - Available in several different lengths, choose while adding to cart Depth - 8-12" (With live edge shelves the front edge has some curvature, the depth can vary +/- around 1" from stated size.) Photography by John Gibbons This project is designed as a family retreat for a client that has been visiting the southern Colorado area for decades. The cabin consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms – with guest quarters accessed from exterior deck. Project by Studio H:T principal in charge Brad Tomecek (now with Tomecek Studio Architecture). The project is assembled with the structural and weather tight use of shipping containers. The cabin uses one 40’ container and six 20′ containers. The ends will be structurally reinforced and enclosed with additional site built walls and custom fitted high-performance glazing assemblies.

Location: New York, NY, United States This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets. Our biggest challenge was coordinating the entire renovation while our client was out of town for the Summer! Photographed by: James Salomon
