This project took Place in Rancho Santa Margarita we converted a traditional back yard into a Beautiful rock garden with a birdbath and paver pad. We used a weed barrier underneath the pebble to ensure we don't have any weeds popping up in between the rocks anytime soon.

The industrious clients came to us with dreams of a new garage structure to provide a home for all of their passions. The design came together around a three car garage with room for a micro-brewery, workshop and bicycle storage – all attached to the house via a new three season porch – and a native prairie landscape and sauna structure on the roof.

Lagoon-side property in the Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA. Entertaining and enjoying the views were a primary design goal for this project along with replacing the lawn with CA native and low water plants and a total renovation. The project includes a large camaru deck with built-in seating. The concrete steps and pavers lead down to the water's edge. I included a sunken patio on one side and a beautiful Buddha statue on the other, surrounded by succulents and other low-water, contemporary plantings. I also used Dymondia ground cover to create a natural pathways within the garden.

common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), also called annual ragweed or bitterweed. This noxious weed is much smaller, growing to between two and four feet tall. This species of ragweed is very aggressive and will grow in sunnier spots than its larger cousin, Giant Ragweed. It can often invade Bermuda lawns where the soil is compacted and irrigation may be sparse. It produces masses of pollen in late summer and early fall, causing serious allergy problems all across our region. https://soilsalive.com/resources/identification-guide/common-ragweed
