This light filled laundry room is as functional as it is beautiful. It features a vented clothes drying cabinet, complete with a hanging rod for air drying clothes and pullout mesh racks for drying t-shirts or delicates. The handy dog shower makes it easier to keep Fido clean and the full height wall tile makes cleaning a breeze. Open shelves above the dog shower provide a handy spot for rolled up towels, dog shampoo and dog treats. A laundry soaking sink, a custom pullout cabinet for hanging mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies, and ample cabinet storage make this a dream laundry room. Design accents include a fun octagon wall tile and a whimsical gold basket light fixture.

We created the matching nautical mural and border for this bright and open kitchen. While this kitchen is mostly neutral tones, the accents of blue really "pop"!

The wainscoting is made from reclaimed white barn board. For this special job, no wood was joined, every edge was eased to look worn with a wavering block plane. Knots, bullet holes, gouges, old paint, saw marks and every other imperfection were embraced and showcased for the story they represented. Nothing looks new. The ceiling is treated with tongue and grooved, beveled cedar planks. There is nothing more incongruous than when a room is rustic but the sheetrock walls are left smooth - especially when the wall are left white. To give the walls an aged look we used a two-tone yellow-gold, coarse Venetian plaster. PHOTO CREDIT: John Ray

This set of cabinets and washing station is just inside the large garage. The washing area is to rinse off boots, fishing gear and the like prior to hanging them up. The doorway leads into the home--to the right is the laundry & guest suite to the left the balance of the home.

Recessed lighting under the kitchen cabinets keeps the mural visible during night hours. This was a super fun project for us to take on and we are so happy with how it turned out!

We think the white range really fits in this kitchen! Our clients paired this look with a white 3x6 subway tile and a micro mini glass brick mosaic as well as white appliances, oyster white cabinets, and Caesarstone counter tops.
