This kitchen is full of fun elements that reflect the clients personality. Taking their favorite color into consideration, purple was used as an accent and incorporated into the display cube making it a focal point in the kitchen. This accent color highlights the small flecks of amethyst within the countertop material that is continued through the waterfall peninsula and surrounds the fireplace in the adjacent room. Because of the long run of large windows in this kitchen, we had the opportunity to design with primarily base cabinets making the space feel very open and airy and maximized the amount of natural light coming in. In order to break up the long run of cabinetry, we intentionally designed a darker finish around the Galley Workstation. Having a great view of the beautiful backyard is an added bonus!

This gorgeous open concept kitchen features an oversized island with bar seating on the end. The clean lines of the kitchen design are mirrored with the those of our 39", double bowl, ledge workstation sink. The mostly modern kitchen has hints of rustic charm and texture- Our sinks are a great option for any aesthetic.

Create Good Sinks' 46" workstation sink. This 16 gauge stainless steel undermount sink replaced the dinky drop-in prep sink that was in the island originally. Cherry cabinets from previous owner's reno were retrofitted with new quartz countertops (Midnight Corvo in matte finish seen here on the island), new sinks and faucets. Island was extended from 5' to 11.5' and includes seating on one end. Walls were painted fresh white. Two Create Good Sinks "Ardell" faucets were installed with this sink to make it easy for two cooks in the kitchen.

Stunning transitional family home with mid-century modern elements. This home was completely re-envisioned for a more functional and streamlined layout allowing for an open concept Great Room including Kitchen, Bar Area, Dining and Living Space. This bright kitchen with tons of natural light boasts Signature Custom Cabinetry throughout along with The Galley Workstation for ease in food prep and entertaining. The beautiful countertops are Ella Luxury Slab by Cambria through Apex, with Moby Pendants by Stone Lighting for Island lighting creating a gorgeous kitchen statement. This home boasts a spa-like master bathroom retreat with Calacata Porcelanosa slab and freestanding tub enclosed within the shower area. The Mudroom and Laundry room space create a perfect landing area for this growing family to keep things organized and clean.

This mid-century modern kitchen was developed with the original architectural elements of its mid-century shell at the heart of its design. Throughout the space, the kitchen’s repetition of alternating dark walnut and light wood uses in the cabinetry and framework reflect the contrast of the dark wooden beams running along the white ceiling. The playful use of two tones intentionally develops unified work zones using all modern day elements and conveniences. For instance, the 5’ galley workstation stands apart with grain-matched walnut cabinetry and stone wrap detail for a furniture-like feeling. The mid-century architecture continued to be an emphasis through design details such as a flush venting system within a drywall structure that conscientiously disappears into the ceiling affording the existing post-and-beams structures and clerestory windows to stand in the forefront. Along with celebrating the characteristic of the mid-century home the clients wanted to bring the outdoors in. We chose to emphasis the view even more by incorporating a large window centered over the galley kitchen sink. The final result produced a translucent wall that provokes a dialog between the outdoor elements and the natural color tones and materials used throughout the kitchen. While the natural light and views are visible because of the spacious windows, the contemporary kitchens clean geometric lines emphasize the newly introduced natural materials and further integrate the outdoors within the space. The clients desired to have a designated area for hot drinks such as coffee and tea. To create a station that was easily accessible as well as easily to storage away we incorporated two aluminum tambours together with integrated power lift doors. One tambour acting as the hot drink station and the other acting as an appliance garage. Overall, this minimalistic kitchen is nothing short of functionality and mid-century character. Once a sunken living room closed off from the kitchen, we aimed to change the awkward accessibility of the space into an open and easily functional space that is cohesive. To open up the space even further, we designed a blackened steel structure with mirrorpane glass to reflect light and enlarge the room. Within the structure lives a previously existing lava rock wall. We painted this wall in glitter gold and enhanced the gold luster with built-in backlit LEDs. Centered within the steel framing is a TV, which has the ability to be hidden when the mirrorpane doors are closed. The adjacent staircase wall is cladded with a large format white casework grid and seamlessly houses the wine refrigerator. The clean lines create a simplistic ornate design as a fresh backdrop for the repurposed crystal chandelier. Nothing short of bold sophistication, this kitchen overflows with playful elegance — from the gold accents to the glistening crystal chandelier above the island. We took advantage of the large window above the 7’ galley workstation to bring in a great deal of natural light and a beautiful view of the backyard. In a kitchen full of light and symmetrical elements, on the end of the island we incorporated an asymmetrical focal point finished in a dark slate. This four drawer piece is wrapped in safari brasilica wood that purposefully carries the warmth of the floor up and around the end piece to ground the space further. The wow factor of this kitchen is the geometric glossy gold tiles of the hood creating a glamourous accent against a marble backsplash above the cooktop. This kitchen is not only classically striking but also highly functional. The versatile wall, opposite of the galley sink, includes an integrated refrigerator, freezer, steam oven, convection oven, two appliance garages, and tall cabinetry for pantry items. The kitchen’s layout of appliances creates a fluid circular flow in the kitchen. Across from the kitchen stands a slate gray wine hutch incorporated into the wall. The doors and drawers have a gilded diamond mesh in the center panels. This mesh ties in the golden accents around the kitchens décor and allows you to have a peek inside the hutch when the interior lights are on for a soft glow creating a beautiful transition into the living room. Between the warm tones of light flooring and the light whites and blues of the cabinetry, the kitchen is well-balanced with a bright and airy atmosphere. The powder room for this home is gilded with glamor. The rich tones of the walnut wood vanity come forth midst the cool hues of the marble countertops and backdrops. Keeping the walls light, the ornate framed mirror pops within the space. We brought this mirror into the place from another room within the home to balance the window alongside it. The star of this powder room is the repurposed golden swan faucet extending from the marble countertop. We places a facet patterned glass vessel to create a transparent complement adjacent to the gold swan faucet. In front of the window hangs an asymmetrical pendant light with a sculptural glass form that does not compete with the mirror.
