In most cases, the price of a Pondless waterfall will be less than a pond, because there is less labor involved, as well as less rock and materials. Operating costs are also less. Because you’re not dealing with an established ecosystem, it’s not necessary to run the pump 24/7.

Maintenance - Taking care of your Pondless Waterfall is easy. Filling the reservoir every few weeks to compensate for water loss because of evaporation is all that’s required.

Perhaps the best part of the Pondless Waterfall is the possibility for the future. If you change your mind later, wishing you’d build a pond, that’s ok! If you leave enough room around the base of the waterfall, it’s easy to add a pond onto a Pondless Waterfall.
Complete System
It might be difficult to imagine a waterfall and stream without a pond. Where does the water go? A Pondless Waterfall works much like a regular pond. The hole, deeper than a normal pond, is dug then lined with rock and gravel, and filled with water. The water is then circulated from beneath the rocks and gravel by a pump that sits on the bottom, inside a Snorkel Vault and Centipede Module. A pipe runs from there up to a BioFalls Filter and into an overflowing waterfall, where it falls back into the reservoir. Since the water level never pools above the level of the rock and gravel fill, it give the appearance of a waterfall without a pond, when in fact, the “pond” is there but not visible.
The Pondless Waterfall has made many water-lovers who were previously unable to indulge in the sweet sounds of falling water, very happy. It’s a great alternative for those who are trying to get their feet wet, or looking to fit a little bit of paradise into their own backyard. In other words, when all else fails … go Pondless!

Pu'uwai Design & ConstructionThis relaxing suite is the perfect getaway after a long day at the beach. The white bed is soft and luxurious, while the mosquito net covering over the canopy bed creates privacy and the cozy feeling of being in your own tropical nest. We used deep blues for the throw pillows and ebony furniture to add contrast without interrupting the zen design. The natural finishes used throughout the house are continued in this room and seen in the teak sliding glass doors, woven blinds, and natural log lamps. The beach aesthetic is also carried into this bedroom with the use of sea shells, a woven sea urchin candle holder, and woven baskets.

This clean modern south Oakville Ontario remodel proves you don’t need to move
to a condo to completely update your surroundings.
These Oakville empty nesters with an active social life aren't interested in “fuddy-duddy” decor.
On the contrary, they are interested in the latest design trends, as well as the most current audio/visual components.
The original stone fireplace was updated with a custom designed mantle and a new gas insert. The updated warm grey
colour palette balances the natural stone making it an inviting focal point. The interior design included reconfiguring the room layout. Originally a smaller TV was located in-between the window and the fireplace and the sofa was where the current cabinet is now.
Our new layout opens up the room taking full advantage of it’s size. The sumptuous sectional allows for relaxed tete a tete
evenings as well as seating for larger groups. The additional leather occasional chair completes the conversation circle too. We naturally selected fabrics that are family friendly to ensure the grandchildren and adults can all be at ease. The flexibility of the 3
piece coffee table is both practical and adds an element of modern artistry. Grounding the room is a carpet graphic grey animal
skin custom sized into an area rug. Components as well as miscellaneous items are easily stored in the customised wood cabinet.

Coco Maison DesignWe planned a thoughtful redesign of this beautiful home while retaining many of the existing features. We wanted this house to feel the immediacy of its environment. So we carried the exterior front entry style into the interiors, too, as a way to bring the beautiful outdoors in. In addition, we added patios to all the bedrooms to make them feel much bigger. Luckily for us, our temperate California climate makes it possible for the patios to be used consistently throughout the year.
The original kitchen design did not have exposed beams, but we decided to replicate the motif of the 30" living room beams in the kitchen as well, making it one of our favorite details of the house. To make the kitchen more functional, we added a second island allowing us to separate kitchen tasks. The sink island works as a food prep area, and the bar island is for mail, crafts, and quick snacks.
We designed the primary bedroom as a relaxation sanctuary – something we highly recommend to all parents. It features some of our favorite things: a cognac leather reading chair next to a fireplace, Scottish plaid fabrics, a vegetable dye rug, art from our favorite cities, and goofy portraits of the kids.

Southern LivingFurthering her plan to enhance the room's architecture, Suzanne turned one corner of the kitchen into a cheery dining area with an L-shaped built-in bench that mimics the cabinetry. To keep the dining nook cozy (not restaurant-like) she surrounded the metal bistro table with slipcovered armchairs and hung a sparkly chandelier above.
Using the same patterned fabric on the window valances and pillows throughout (Montmartre in Clay/Blue from her own collection for Lee Jofa; leejofa.com), Suzanne introduced color and life to the kitchen without taking away from the all-white effect. Photo by Erica George Dines for Southern Living

Beautiful Habitat: Design & DecorationThe existing kitchen was completely remodeled to create a compact chef's kitchen. The client is a true chef, who teaches cooking classes, and we were able to get a professional grade kitchen in an 11x7 footprint!
The new island creates adequate prep space. The bookcases on the front add a ton of storage and interesting display in an otherwise useless walkway.
The South wall is the exposed brick original to the 1900's home. To compliment the brick, we chose a warm nutmeg stain in cherry cabinets.
The countertops are a durable quartz that look like marble but are sturdy enough for this work horse kitchen.
The retro pendants are oversized to add a lot of interest in this small space.

This project is part tear-down, part remodel. The original L-shaped plan allowed the living/ dining/ kitchen wing to be completely re-built while retaining the shell of the bedroom wing virtually intact. The rebuilt entertainment wing was enlarged 50% and covered with a low-slope reverse-shed roof sloping from eleven to thirteen feet. The shed roof floats on a continuous glass clerestory with eight foot transom. Cantilevered steel frames support wood roof beams with eaves of up to ten feet. An interior glass clerestory separates the kitchen and livingroom for sound control. A wall-to-wall skylight illuminates the north wall of the kitchen/family room. New additions at the back of the house add several “sliding” wall planes, where interior walls continue past full-height windows to the exterior, complimenting the typical Eichler indoor-outdoor ceiling and floor planes. The existing bedroom wing has been re-configured on the interior, changing three small bedrooms into two larger ones, and adding a guest suite in part of the original garage. A previous den addition provided the perfect spot for a large master ensuite bath and walk-in closet. Natural materials predominate, with fir ceilings, limestone veneer fireplace walls, anigre veneer cabinets, fir sliding windows and interior doors, bamboo floors, and concrete patios and walks.
