We hired Jackie to renovate our kitchen. She worked with us to design and plan our new kitchen. She helped us select and order cabinetry, appliances, fixtures and more. And she and her team did all the work, which involved completely gutting an old galley kitchen and building an open, spacious, functional and beautiful kitchen. Jackie listened to our very specific, and often changing, desires and concerns. In turn she designed a layout that perfectly suits our space, and meets our needs. She was very accommodating in designing and planning and semi-custom cabinetry that achieves the style we wanted, provides ample storage space and provides for easy access and organization. Jackie and her team did an outstanding job building and installing our new kitchen. She made sure everything was completed with a high level of quality. And she was accommodating to any changes we requested.

Doesn't get better than Jackie's creative, innovative design ideas. She has an eye for detail. We were impressed with her hands on attitude and knowledge of construction and build-out. Her honesty and knowledge helped us avoid some very big snafus we wouldn't have known about otherwise. She is honest and fair in her pricing. I would highly recommend.

Jackie and the BK Kitchen team successfully saw us through our renovation process, takeing care of any issue or problem that came up along the way and suggesting solutions and improvements - a true asset to have by your side with any kitchen or apt renovation.

My experience with Design Build Brooklyn could not have been worse. I contacted Jackie to discuss a 2 kitchen project and I emailed her as she asked. She never responded until I followed up the next week. After that, we set a meeting at the house for a consultation, and her secretary called me and told me she would either be late or not be able to make it. After the late consultation, Jackie promised me drawings by the end of the week, and a quote shortly after. Of course, by week's end, no drawings. I got a very apologetic call from the assistant who then promised me drawings and a quote by the following monday. Again, no communication whatsoever and my project was officially being delayed. After following up after Jackie missed another deadline, 2 days later I received an email that they would not be able to take on my project. This 3 person team is highly unprofessional and led me on for OVER 3 WEEKS before informing me they would not take on my project. This is a customer service based industry and Jackie caused me a huge delay as she led me on. I do not recommend them.

I remain delighted with the gorgeous kitchen remodel that Jackie Cordero provided. It was a project I had thought about for years and I had a clear vision of what I wanted. Jackie worked very closely with me to bring that vision to fruition by giving me concrete choices to make it happen. The end result is beautiful, practical and within budget. Jackie is extremely energetic and creative. She is also hardworking and very skilled. I highly recommend Jackie Cordero for Kitchen Remodeling.

I breathed a sigh of relief upon meeting Jackie. She just got it. We were looking to renovate our oddly shaped kitchen space and wanted it to flow with the rest of our loft and it's variety of woods and metals. Jackie's ideas and designs were exactly what we were looking for. She is creative, hard working and patient. We reused a piece of wood for the top of the island to save money. When it wasn't quite big enough to cover the cabinets, Jackie thought to create a border of wood. It looks great! In addition, she was key in helping us decide how best to design the backsplash and was super patient as it took us awhile before we decided on right tiles. I would recommend Jackie for a renovation project and plan to work with her again on other projects in the future.

Jackie and her team took on my renovation project in August and I had a beautiful new countertop, sink, faucet, appliances and a coat of white paint over everything when I got back from vacation, just as I'd dreamed! Jackie is very decisive, accommodating, great on deadline and always up for a challenge: hanging a swing bed and whitewashing the floor in the living room wasn't easy, but she said yes! Looking forward to using Brooklyn Kitchen Design for more projects.

We hired Jackie to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. We wanted a particular cabinet style and she found it within a reasonable price range. I had the taste of a millionaire but not the budget. Jackie worked within our budget perfectly. She provided me samples to bring home and ponder. After finally making our decision, Jackie personally made the installments. What we appreciated is that she did the work. Not day laborers. Giving us a sense of security of having the job done correctly the first time. Jackie cleaned up her work site at the end of every day. What crew she did bring in, were professional and courteous. I wanted a hidden place for my kitty litter pan, everything had to be designed around my old family chopping block, smooth cabinets, and a drop down trash can. I chose a very difficult tile to work with, and Jackie installed every single tiny piece. Jackie introduced us to the design of a peninsula counter top, making use of five feet of unused, above the radiator, space. Very much appreciated, and as my husband says, "More area to put your "stuff" on. Our kitchen is beautiful, and beyond what I had expected. I highly recommend Jackie to design, order, install, manage home owner indecisiveness, and create a kitchen that enhances your home, increases value, and displays your personal design aesthetic.

We hired Jackie at BKD almost 2 years ago to completely redesign our small space kitchen. The space was formerly our dining area and everything was flipped and switched around. We are very happy with the end product and final design. Working with a small space is very difficult and everything has to align (including the appliances, cabinets, sink, etc.). Of course, there were bumps in the road—this is natural. The goal is to combine a sense of personal design and practicality within your budget and vision. Everything needs to flow, and it does. Jackie’s insight and design technique worked well within the parameters of our space. Overall, we contributed to the vision ourselves and helped with the design and particulars, but the initial concept(s) and final execution were handled well by Jackie. We would definitely recommend BKD.

Jackie from Brooklyn Kitchen Design is a very creative and talented designer, as well as can build, make or produce most all that she has designed. Her creations are unique and we loved every project that she has worked on , for us. We would recommend her and Brooklyn Kitchen Design very highly.

Jackie at Brooklyn Kitchen Design was fabulous to work with for my bathrooms, so I continued using her to renovate my laundry room, child's bedroom and storage area. My place is much more functional and attractive now plus Jackie found space for several extra closets. Jackie combines a practiced design eye (all styles) with a thorough knowledge of construction. BKD reliably designs and installs projects from start to finish, on time and within budget. Highly recommend!
