Bryan worked with us to design our ADU and it turned out beautiful! He was very easy to work with, was responsive in his communication, and did a fantastic job of listening to and incorporating our wishes into the design. The ADU was a detached structure, approximately 500 square feet, very modern design. One thing we especially appreciated about Bryan was how he suggested some small added details based on what he knew of us that we hadn't thought of, like, for example, a kennel for our dog that is built into the cabinetry, and a great space to hang my cherished copper pots in the kitchen. His final design ended up being over budget for what we had wanted to spend and there were some things that we ended up just not being able to complete that he had wanted to include in the design. But overall, we are very pleased with the design that Bryan came up with and very much appreciate all the effort he put into the project.

Bryan and Jen were a real pleasure to work with. Our project lasted over 18 months from initial designs to final inspections and we felt like we had Zenbox by our side the entire time. We loved the work they had done before and felt like we were in sync throughout the design process. Bryan was always very quick with any updates that were needed with the plans or anything else that was needed during the approval process and construction. I look forward to working with Zenbox on future projects!

I hired Bryan to create/firm up a design for my garage conversion. His communication and timing was on point. I have used the designers at zenbox for multiple design projects now across two different properties. These projects ranged from: - A built-in fireplace / mantle with above hanging television (full design followed to spec) - Kitchen design and layout consultation (the 3D renderings made our ideas come to life and were priceless in our idea forming stages) - Backyard landscaping design (again, the design ideas they have, and the way they can communicate them through 3D mockups continues to be the reason I go back). I would highly recommend them for anything from just batting around ideas and wondering what it could look like, to full blown custom design projects. zenbox design thinks of everything!

I may not the typical reviewer of services by Zenbox Design, however I can definitely speak to the creativity and beauty of the design! My husband and I recently spent a week in the ADU garage conversion space. In one word I would describe the space as Zen! The flow of the space is amazing, it exudes serenity and calm from the moment you walk in the door. The design is innovative and unique, utilizing many different textures and materials to make the space look great and still have a great function! Given the beauty of the Pacific Northwest the design lent very much to the beauty of the outdoors, utilizing all the natural light possible from the large open skylight in the bathroom to the wall of doors that opened up to the outside. The design was very reflective of the neighborhood and city. The utility of the moving table is amazing, a bar top counter that pulls out for a full dining table. This is exactly what I would look for in a design expert, versatility and creative thinking to bring elements that compliment the space. I would highly recommend Zenbox Design to my friends and family! We are very fortunate to have spent time in the space and know who we will hire for future projects!

Bryan from zenbox design has been a pleasure to work with. Throughout the process of helping us design and build an ADU addition to our home, he's been thoughtful of our wants and needs while also being fiscally responsible with design choices. He's given us several skillful 3-D computer graphics of our various ideas to help us visualize our choices and compare and contrast in a timely way as we make design decisions for our project.
