Once again, Needle & Shears comes through with terrific results. Our club chairs were looking darn sad and ugly after year of wear and tear by countless people and lots of naps by our two canine companions. The charcoal fabric is absolutely perfect. The chairs look new and handsome. Not sure what the dogs think, but I love them!

I just received my 3rd set of slipcovers for a couch. This is my 6th slipcover from Needle & Shears. My first order was in 2016, and I’m proud to call myself a loyal customer. I am always amazed at how they make perfect slipcovers every time. It’s unbelievable how well they fit. The quality of workmanship is impressive. From start to finish, the customer service is absolutely top notch. Mark is a delight to work with. He responds to any question quickly and efficiently. Lovely slipcover for an old over stuffed chair. Fits perfectly and has transformed the piece. Great customer service although a lengthy wait for completion. Well worth it for the quality though.

I hired Needle & Shears for a custom slipcover project that ultimately ended in a refusal to proceed, despite all required information being completed and accepted After a delay in submitting measurements, the company did not continue the original order. Instead, they applied my initial 50% deposit to complete the patterning and provide construction instructions. Once the patterning and instructions were complete, I asked to resubmit the order to purchase the slipcover itself and sent a new deposit. This request was refused multiple times, including directly by an owner on a phone call, who stated that management had decided not to allow resubmission and that they were “not going to make the cushion.” The later deposit was refunded. No technical, production, or financial reason was given for the refusal, only that it was a management decision, despite the project materials already being complete. If your project requires any flexibility in timing, be aware that service may be declined even after substantial preparatory work has been completed.

I’m thrilled with my slipcover from Needle & Shears. I had gotten a couple of quotes from different companies who were triple the price. I found Needle & Shears on google and took a chance. I am so glad I did. Mark and team were great to work with from ordering fabric swatches to delivery. They provided very thorough instructions on how to measure for my sofa slipcover and kept me updated throughout the process. Production time was about 5 weeks and they are beautiful!

OMG! I just got my slipcovers and they are everything I hoped for! They look modern and clean and my cat loves them too (cat lady fabric). You were the only company that would cover attached cushion backed sofas and you did a great job! Definitely recommend taking and retaking good measurements and asking questions along the way. I'm extremely impressed with the quality and fit of my new slipcovers from Needle & Shears! The whole process, from sample ordering to receipt of the finished product, was thoughtfully considered and well handled. There was excellent and highly responsive communication from Mark and clear, detailed instructions for taking one's own measurements at home and providing photos of the furniture for their sewing team to work from. The selection of fabrics is nicely curated and of high quality. Their pricing was reasonable in comparison to the quote I received from a local slipcover shop, and I can't imagine how the local shop could have done a better job, even if they had measured on site. I would strongly suggest taking the time to carefully follow their instructions and providing the most accurate measurements possible as well as good, well-lighted photos. I couldn't be happier with the results. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again and, indeed, I have other projects in the works with them!

I have a favorite loveseat with an old,ugly brocade upholstery. Could never get a slip cover to fit or a color I liked. Having it reupholstered would have cost $2000+. So decided to try a custom slip cover. N&S had the best price and selection of colors and fabrics. It did take awhile, but well worth the wait. The customer service was over the top. Very personable and helpful. And the workmanship on the slipcover is excellent.

We contacted Needle & Shears for a slip-cover for our three piece sectional in early December 2024. We ordered a swatch ($0.50) and described our sectional to Mark who assured us they could make a slip-cover for it. We received the swatch and decided to order the slip-cover. We had to pay 50% of the total price quote and submit photos of the sectional to start the process. Customer Service contacted us to confirm our order, answer any questions we had and explain the order and production process. Over the next two weeks, we took more photos and made meticulous measurements of the sectional that we used to complete the measurement forms that we were provided. We submitted the measurement forms just before Christmas - with one small 'hiccup', the automated forms did not work correctly in my email app (Apple Mail). The folks at Needle and Shears understood what had happened and began the laborious task of converting the files into usable data. I had taken the precaution of saving a copy of each form, and sent them as an attachment to a separate email. This saved uncounted hours of time. We got another phone call from Mark confirming receipt of the measurement forms and explaining the production process and what our final payment would be and how they arrived at it. We received an email confirming our phone call and our shipping desires. All we could do now was to wait for the slip-covers to be made. It took eight weeks, not counting the Christmas/New Years holidays, to receive the email stating our slip-covers were complete and waiting packaging and shipment. We noted the charge to our card and received another email with tracking info. We received the slip-covers on March 13th 2025 and installed them per the instructions in the box. I ordered slipcovers for a PB basic sectional and was promised them before Christmas. It’s now mid-February and I have no slipcovers, only excuses.. I should have just ordered a new sofa.
