Candace Killman Interior Design

I have known and worked with Candace for a number of years. She is an incredibly talented Interior Designer, and has a keen eye for important details. She always brings a unique and beautiful touch to anything she is involved with working on. As a builder, Candace has always gotten me a very organized set of specifications and finishes in a very timely fashion. If you need a detailed and trustworthy designer, she is the woman to see. I highly recommend her work.

I have known and worked professionally with Candace Killman for 15 years. She has a wonderful balance between being in control and allowing the best of what is unexpected to arise. She has a clear design vision, but is able to channel that to serve a client's style. The design market has changed because of the internet and ability to shop directly, but not having a designer who can orchestrate the shapes, colors, and scale of objects...is like having an orchestra with a lot of instruments , but no decided music to play , and no conductor. I recently worked with Candace Killman on this remodel of a young family home. Under Candace's guidance I collaborated with the mom on the design of their walk-in closet. My focus was to create an organized space and using materials which will have a positive affect on the Indoor Air Quality and the environment. The PB core material of the closet system does not out-gas toxic formaldehyde (NAUF). The PB is made from recycled wood fibers. I call this the Summer Breeze closet, based on the name of the Textured Woodgrain Laminate. The closet system was manufactured and installed by RC Cabinets & Closets. Candace selected the reclaimed wood floor used throuout the home. I enjoyed being part of this team.

As an artist you look for a working relationship with a designer who is professional and has the creativity to envision a space before its done and help collaborate on the art, wall color, and surroundings to get the best from all of it. She does all of these expertly. Candace is super friendly, very professional and is a pros pro.
