I agree with the 1- and 2-star reviews. I was assured that the home would be completed by late March. Made arrangements for a job transfer around that time. I ended up having to stay at a hotel for April and now May at about a $1000/week. I had visited the site to see if any progress was made and there were no work vehicles indicated no urgency. I also agree that the appliances the development sold or came with were sold to the homeowners with an upcharge. Some appliances were $600 over retail. I'm sure developers purchase at a wholesale price. Stay away from HHH

My advice to anyone who is thinking about buying a house from HH Hunt is not to walk away, but run like Freddie Kreuger and Jason are after you. All they care about is getting your money from you. The contract is one sided and they will do anything as long as it benefits them. If you something is constructed wrong and you don't catch it they could care less as long as it passed inspection. You constantly have to stay on them to get something fixed properly. Bottom line, poor construction for the money

We started our build process with HHHunt in Raleigh a couple of months ago and it was mostly frustration after frustration. It started off with heavy pressure to make a rushed decision on purchasing the lot and house as well as making structural and exterior color decisions. And it did not get better the further we went. The contract stipulates that design center selections have to be submitted with in 20 days of a ratified contract but our first meeting with the design center was 21 days after the contract was ratified. When we started with the design center we found out many issues 1) they were not providing a fridge, but still forced us to but other appliances from them 2) their appliances were all over priced compared to retail (one was 800 more) but at this time we felt stuck because of our Ernest money. 3) we were told that outlets and other electrical features are installed "as the election sees fit" and that if we wanted an outlet in a specific location we had to pay extra, there was no plan they could provide that shows where outlets go 4) we were again rushed and expected to make our final decisions within 3 days 5) their electrical planning guide indicates that "your home comes with" and lists out multiple smart home technologies without any mention of this being an added feature that costs 3600 (way more than the value of what they were offering) 6) our sales agent told use we could have a free standing tub in the owners bath and we agreed to a 1900 upgrade just so we could select a free standing tub (the tub would cost another 3000+) but at design center we were told that our home plan did not have this option I brought our concerns to the sales agent who took them to her manager and came back with an offer to refund our deposit, but I counters with 4 easy requests; a small credit to cover the missing fridge and over priced appliances, assurances that we would not have to pay for an outlet we requested if the electrician decided to put one there anyway, option to amend our contract to the larger shower (we selected small shower and tub because of the freestanding tub), and the option to amend our contract to add a 2nd sink to the 2nd batchroom. Their answer was no, we will cancel the contract and refund your deposit. While I'm glad to get our deposit back I'm very frustrated that the past 2 months of work are now lost and we have to start the whole process over again. Do yourself a favor and build with someone else.

Do not recommend this builder. They over promised and do not delivered. Once you signed the paper, they do not care about you. Home quality depends on the contractor crew you get. Buyer beware.
