About Us

Golden Bee Homes is a Toronto design-build firm focused on full-home renovations, condo renovations, home additions, and interior design. Founded in 2005 by third-generation builder Jack Torossian, the company has completed more than 500 projects across Toronto and the GTA. The company has won the BILD Renovator of the Year award three times (2018, 2019, and 2022), the BILD Custom Home Builder of the Year in 2022, and the BILD Best Basement Renovation in 2023. Golden Bee is a member of CHBA and holds RenoMark certification. Every project runs through the Golden Process, a four-phase design-build approach covering Consultation, Design, Build, and Completion and Care. The process includes a guaranteed fixed price set before construction begins, a fully in-house team of architects, designers, and project managers, a single dedicated point of contact, 3D virtual reality walkthroughs, a client portal for real-time progress tracking, and a 5-year warranty covering labour and materials. Simply outstanding. We've had 5 separate contractors work on our antique Victorian home over the last 15 years, all engaged to implement modern, state-of-the-art, minimalist/contemporary design directions within our 1896 exterior. Without question -- and by a large margin -- Jack and his colleagues at Golden Bee remain the hands-down winners in every respect. We would be hard-pressed to put our admiration of and appreciation for Jack and Golden Bee into words: they delivered superlative work under or within spitting distance of our budget; there were no surprises on budget or timing; their communication is excellent; their trades are highest quality in performance. Special shout-out to Pars for his unmatchable work in site supervision. Above all, Jack and Golden Bee's warmth and humanity establish them as true winners in the renovation and construction field -- and we see this in the steady stream of industry awards they receive year after year. We recommend them fully, without reservation.
