We worked with Katie on a multi-year renovation project of our new condo which was suffering from the developer white paint blues. She was very patient in spending time with us including multiple visits to designer showrooms to consider furnishings, wall treatments and fabric choices. Best of all, Katie is very good at lighting design as we needed more dramatic lighting in our place as well. She guided us through the byzantine process of obtaining building permits in San Francisco which was eased by her very professional set of construction plans. Katie is also very responsive to the needs of her clients. Literally within an hour or two at most she would respond back to us with any questions or concerns. When you are dealing with something as potentially stressful as home renovation that is comforting.

I am a general building contractor who has worked with Katie on several projects over the last few years. Specifically on a remodel of a kitchen and two bathrooms in the Marina district of SF she was superb to work with. First of all she delivered a great design with very clean and easy to read plans, then as happens during construction any time there was a challenge she was available to discuss and would come up with very reasonable ways to solve the challenge. Katie always responds quickly to the Contractor helping keep the project on time and budget. I can definitely recommend her.

Katie is hard working, knowledgable, patient, has a great eye for design, and will add value to any project. My home remodel would never have turned out as nice without Katie. Highly recommend her.

Katie has an amazing ability to transform a space that initially drains you of all energy, into a vibrant, enjoyable and useful space; Simply by changing the lighting and adding a little bit of color. She is so easy to work with, her suggestions are always well thought out and easy to understand.

Katie Anderson has been a great help to me and my mother. Mom was having a lot of difficulty moving around up and down the stairs. Her arthritis and worn-out knee-cartilage were at their worst. To give her some relief and continued use of her home, Katie helped us make plans to bypass all the stairs. We reorganized appliances and added a ramp. She took really good care of mom. The year before she helped me design, choose a contractor, and managed construction of a trellis – to create a shaded area over the parking area for my folk’s to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
