Last year we had a dilemma. Our kitchen needed an upgrade a big one. We wanted to do a kitchen remodel for a long time but were stuck trying to figure out how to approach the project. We found KB Design through a friend, whose house we saw and said "Wow!" to the remodeling that had been done. We own a 1970's ranch and wanted to open it up (back in the '70's they seemed to think the more rooms they could cram into a floor plan, the better). My husband and I own a business together and are rather strong-minded individuals, and Katerina had an incredible way of "bridging the gap of ideas" and finding solutions that worked for all. The quality of the cabinets was very important to me, as well as their durability. KB Design was able to provide all of that! My project was challenging since our house is in Illinois. However, Katia made this possible and easy. We did everything over Skype, phone, and photos. She was always available by phone, even for my smallest questions. My dream was to have a kitchen in dark shades, but I never thought this was possible due to the lack of natural light in that part of our house. To my surprise, Katia made this possible as well. The project consisted of the redesign of the space from moving the kitchen and the walls to designing individual work spaces for all employees. The space has been transformed into a comfortable environment that gets complements from everyone that enters. Since this I have hired them to do my personal home as well.

Katerina turned my boring bedroom into a room with lots of personality. I thoroughly enjoy working with Katerina because of her creative ideas, her professionalism, and her wonderful sense of humor. My only regret is she moved too far away.
