Kyla Coburn Designs

This is my first experience working with a professional interior designer. I have worked with 'designers' or sales people at furniture stores who describe themselves as designers, but never one who is as qualified and talented as Kyla. Our budget was scary small and I feared that someone as talented and as in demand as she was would turn me down, but she didn't. She has worked with me, back and forth on suggestions, even despite the tiny budget - why? because she wants it to be 'perfect' for us and ensure that my husband and I are happy in the space she is creating. Her level of patience is unmatched. She can adapt and work in any style (we live in Virginia outside of DC), and look at something that i might not appreciate, find the beauty in it and most importantly help me understand how it can transform the space.. There are designers who can only work within certain parameters - whether that's budget or style. I find that Kyla has the ability to create a vision that is based on the clients functional needs and aesthetic tastes - traits that you don't find with alot of people operating in this space. She wants you to feel a certain way in your home, not just have a pretty home. Her goal is your comfort and your sense of peace in your home. Instead of selling our home out of frustration with how it felt, we will enjoy it for now!

Kyla and her crew are fabulous. They were able to pick up on our style right away and the transformation was truly remarkable. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a design company.
