We recently bought a home from Montgomery Custom Homes in Lakewood and love it! We absolutely love the floor plan. The design and attention to detail were what we noticed first. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen with top of the line appliances and plenty of countertop space. We also love having a guest suite with bath downstairs. Wonderful house! We highly recommend this builder. His team of professionals are top notch!

We have worked with Montgomery Custom Homes for the last year and a half. Matt and his project manager, Eddie Grothaus, are amazingly professional, hard-working, communicative, and thorough. Matt walked us through the entire process of building our new home--from the early phases of connecting us with an architect, through demolition and planning, and down to recommendations for interior designers and landscaping. What helped us decide to go with Matt as our builder initially was his absolute enthusiasm for home-building. No matter what kind of question we asked, he himself gave us an in-depth answer. In fact, on our first visit with him to learn about his process and building style, he spent a total of 4 hours with us--demonstrating everything from the-6-inch exterior walls he uses for stronger insulation down to the types of plumbing sheathing he uses. He has extensive experience of over two decades, and his homes are gorgeous. He is honest, committed, detail-oriented, and professional. We highly, highly recommend him!!!

Matt Montgomery built my home in 2012 and I love it. It is a craftsman home and the floor plan made perfect use of the available lot space. I've referred him to my friends already.

Matt and his group have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. There is a relaxed ease at which we have worked together even when tricky issues arise and those have been few. It's nice to have someone who takes as much care to ensure the product designed is built as closely to that design as possible. It's also nice to have someone who cares enough about the end product that if design items are to be discussed during any phase of the project, Matt and his team don't hesitate to take in all of the suggestions in search of the best solution.
