MR Studio Architecture

Jon and Emily of MR Studios are incredible to say the least. Their thoughtful, collaborative approach was invaluable during the process of designing my mountain home outside of Los Angeles (from scratch, mind you). Throughout the entire process, they came up with ideas and solutions I'd never considered and were able to find a wonderful balance between inventive design, pragmatic utility and financial practicality. They're communicative, punctual, and knowledgeable about every step of the process (which was great for someone like me who had never done this before...), and are so easy to reach at every stage. I've been recommending them to my friends also looking to build homes and I hope to work with them again down the road. I also feel as if I have met a pair of new friends on this journey with Jon and Emily. 10/10

Emily and Jon were wonderful collaborators to work with. They really listened to me and paid attention to details that I cared about. I expected them to really consider all my ideas but then make them better & that’s exactly what they always came back with. They are extremely professional, show up when they say they will, and will go above & beyond to make sure you are happy. These projects can be full of hard decision making whether it’s cost or best use of space & having solid architectural guides makes the decisions easier / clearer to make.
