Owings Brothers did an amazing job building our custom home. The craftsmen and sub contractors were great and they were timely. I recommend them for remodeling or new home construction. They have completed both for us.

Unresponsive to emails. Started out dealing with Tina regarding a bathroom remodel and she was very responsive. Once she handed the project off to the bath specialist, Toni, things fell apart and they would no longer respond to emails.

Really great company. We really loved Bernard and Angela. The efficiency to completion and the workmanship was great. We are very happy with how everything turned out!

I hired Owings Brothers to build a garage attached to my 60's rancher home. From the beginning, I sensed the pride they took in their work and commitment to customer service. From the owner to every craftsman that came to my house, I could see their dedication to the company and in turn the customer. Every contractor I met had worked for the company for a long time which gave me assurance that my house was always in great hands.The entire team was amazing and very easy to work with, The project manager John was very efficient, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. He truly cared about the project. Any issue or question I had was addressed immediately. I LOVE my new garage, it blends perfectly with my home. Their communication system, attention to detail, contractors could not be surpassed , I would highly recommend Owings Brothers for any home project!

Our architect recommended Owings Brothers and we are thrilled that they did the full house remodel for us. They were able to start right away and stayed focused on our job until completion. We are thrilled with their professionalism and work quality. They just came back and spent a week doing touch ups. Everyone who comes into our home is amazed. Just what we wanted. We hired Owings Brothers to do a gut renovation / reconstruction after our house was damaged in a fire. We had an excellent working relationship with the entire team on a very large project. Using co-construct, we were able to track big and small details that otherwise might have gotten lost. With the help of Katie (one of Owings Brothers interior decorators), we were able to design our master bathroom and kitchen to our specification. Katie's knowledge in materials and design were particularly helpful. Tim Owings, the foreman of our project, was extremely knowledgeable, practical, and great to work with. When we asked him questions related to moving things around the house (such as walls, doors, light fixtures, faucets, etc) he would let us know the pros and cons, and would also offer his own opinion. He also did a good job keeping the tradesmen on task during the project. The project was completed on the budget specified in co-construct, and on time. We have been back in our house for a couple of months now, and we have been extremely happy with the house build, and also how attentive Owings Brothers has been after job completion to things that need adjustment and repair. We highly recommend them.

We interviewed about a dozen contractors and firms to do our first floor and kitchen renovation in Silver Spring, MD. Owings Brothers was by far the most efficient, resourceful and transparent. We could not have made a better decision and intend to use them again for future projects. Owings Brothers uses a program called Co-Construct that allows you to keep tabs on the job from an app on your phone and a portal website through a browser on your computer. Everyone in their company is trained on using Co-Construct and all activity, purchasing, financials and progress is documented through this application. The foreman loads daily photographs of the work and all questions are answered through the app, so anyone participating in your project can see the documentation. You never have to wait for a response from the company and you can always log on to check on all activity with your account. Owings Brothers supplements this digital communication with a prompt text, email or phone call whenever needed. Our job took about 3 months and was completed on time. John, our foreman was exceptional. He communicated with us clearly, anticipated problems, kept his tradesmen on task and on schedule. His craftsmanship was great and he always left our house as clean and tidy as possible at the end of the work day. Once we got into the mindset of undergoing construction, it was as pleasant a situation as possible. John oversaw the job with obvious skill and knowledge. Also, Owings Brothers provides a warranty on all their work. This causes them to do it right the first time. If not, they’ll come out to tend to any repairs. Doing your homework and interviewing multiple firms will allow you to see how exceptional Owings Brothers Construction is.

I was dreading redoing my master bath and 2kids bathrooms because of the inconvenience and mess. But having said that , in hiring Owings , I did not ever experience that! I hired their in house designer, Katie Heyman, and was very pleased with her choices and her willingness to make changes and offer other suggestions. She was so easy to work with. Our living spaces were kept clean and they even “built” a wall to protect my fabric bedroom walls. Everyone who came into our home were professional and clean and respectful of our space. This job would not have been as fun!!! or unobtrusive without Nathan- who sadly just left to move to Canada-who oversaw the entire 4 months of work- or Elver- their tile ARTIST- who does beautiful work- All their trades people were competent and professional. We LOVE our new bathrooms

We're very happy. Maybe a few tiny bumps along the way, but that's to be expected. Everything handled & completed. interior remodeling & paint; new slider door in brick wall; new deck outside + more!

We had a great experience with Owings Brothers for a major first floor renovation of an old (100+ years) house. Attention to detail was excellent and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The resources available to you through Owings also make the whole process much easier - truly a one-stop shop. Would highly recommend Owings for projects big and small.
