I have worked with Penrose on multiple real estate transactions and projects and can't say enough about how great they are to work with. In particular, I've worked with Eric Chauvin on the purchase and sale of multiple properties, to screen tenants (several times) for rental properties, and worked with him on a fairly large-scale renovation. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of real estate and provides great advice. He is extremely responsive and truly cares about things getting done efficiently and accurately. He makes client satisfaction his top priority. I've worked with other members of the Penrose team as well and they did not disappoint. Their professionalism is second to none. I strongly recommend this firm for any real estate needs.

I've been working with Chris and the team at Penrose for 11 years now. They have done everything from towel rack replacement to kitchen remodels to gut renovations, and they are starting a new project soon. His teams are professional and tidy, everything is neat at the end of the work day. He always has great ideas and he and Nick work with me as a team to make sure I get the best result for my budget. This is the kitchen he did for me last year.

This summer we moved out of our South End brownstone to renovate it w the plan of placing it w a property management firm for the rest of our lives (hopefully a long time!) To say our least the 1850s era brownstone had seen better days. An initial contractor was not able to complete work on time and we parted ways in late August. I engaged Penrose PM&D in mid August after interviewing 7 other groups. In August they came up with magnificent plans for a total renovation, with professional drawings and estimates - far better than what was half done. First of September, 8 of their in-house construction team arrived and by mid October had gutted and renovated the kitchen, 3 ½ baths, a redesigned laundry room and bedrooms, with all new fixtures throughout down to new but vintage classic doorknobs, new storms and windows, sanding and refinishing floors, and new paint throughout. Except for 3 back-ordered skylights and resealing all areas on the roof, they finished just as promised by mid October. They also found a tenant by early October who leased starting Nov 1 for a lot more than estimated by the prior contracted firm. I continue to be delighted, as our the tenants in both units.

I am so glad I hired Penrose Design to renovate a rental property I own. The transformation was impressive, and it increased the rent by 35%. Chris and Eric’s guidance on design choices for maximum return on investment was invaluable. The team was a pleasure to work with, and delivered ahead of schedule. I will continue to have them renovate other units as they become available.
