This was our third time using Renovation Experts and we could not be happier with the result. We fully renovated our kitchen and ensuite bathroom, made updates to two bathrooms and refinished our staircase. Stan’s ability to estimate, communicate progress and leverage his relationships with the best people in each trade resulted in a high quality job with no surprises. I particularly like that the estimate included some assumptions on the cost of key items like tile or cabinetry. This helped to inform our choices and ensure we were aware if we were making selections outside of the budget. We found the work of our day to day on-site supervisor Sam to be detailed and the outcome beyond our expectations. Our electrician Steve and plumber Dom were professional and delivered great work, while making the journey more pleasant. We would not hesitate to use Renovation Experts again or make a referral. Stan and his team, led by Mike, completely updated the basement in our new home. They turned it from dark and damp into a bright and comfortable space where our family now loves to spend time. They were extremely professional throughout the renovation, completed the project on budget and provided some great ideas and suggestions during the work. We are really happy with the results, and we’ll definitely be working with them again whenever we decide to make any further upgrades to our home.

Stan and his team at Renovation Experts helped us create an open concept first floor and dream kitchen last year. As a testament to our experience with them, we will definitely be calling them when we are ready for our next renovations. Stan, the owner of Renovation Experts, is genuine. He was truly interested in our project and discussing ideas with us right from the time we met at the Home and Reno Show. Even as we considered other contractors in our search, Stan met with us several times to iron out details in an itemized estimate. Being detail oriented ourselves, his level of detail and organization was truly appreciated. We realized that without this level of detail, an accurate estimate for cost and timeline would be impossible. Stan was very helpful in getting our permit submitted as well. Our project involved many components: Removal of the load bearing wall, relocation of doors and windows, removal of popcorn ceiling, replacing flooring with new hardwood and tile, installation of kitchen and dining room cabinetry, counters and island, relocation of range hood, installation of new lights throughout the first floor and outdoors, security cameras, and painting of the entire first floor. Stan introduced us to his Project Manager Dave who presented us with a detailed timeline of demolition and construction. Dave was instrumental in coordinating all the different tradespeople as well as the inspections from the city, and for making sure all things were in place to ensure the project stayed on course and on time. Both Stan and Dave were always reachable by text and email and responded within hours. Dave always answered our questions in point by point detail. Stan’s team: Reza the Architectural Engineer, Sam the Foreman, Wade the plumber, Steve the electrician, Christian the cabinet installer, William the counter-top installer and all the other workers Mike, Sasha, Majid, Soheil were all friendly, courteous and considerate as we lived in the house during most of the renovations. They did a fine job and the end result is a polished and finished new first floor. We wanted someone we could trust and count on their expertise for our renovation and they delivered.

I am a designer who has worked with Stan and Dave from Renovation Experts on several projects, and I have always had wonderful experiences with them, as did my clients. They are honest and knowledgeable, do quality workmanship, and are great at listening to a client’s needs and acting on them in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them!

We recently did a large home renovation with Renovation Experts. The scope of work included on the main floor: a partial wall removal to increase the size of our living and family room area, removal of popcorn ceilings, removal of large wood burning fireplace, installation of pot-lights, one remodeled main floor bathroom and a new gas fireplace, and on the second floor two remolded bathrooms; and painting primarily on the main floor and 50% of the second floor. We found Stan and his site foreman David to be very considerate of our comfort by keeping the work area safe and relatively clean, and by keeping us informed what was planed to be worked on days ahead. Work was conducted on week days only. As for quality of work, we are extremely pleased. Stan has hired a great team of contractors. The workmanship is excellent. Everybody who came to work at our home was very professional and pleasant to deal with. David the site foreman was always there when you needed him. Stan Boigon, the owner of Renovation Experts managed the project according to budget and time. Stan was also very accessible, and prompt with returning calls and emails. His billing was very accurate, and he gave very fair allowances. He provided a good itemized billing with an excel spreadsheet that was easy to read and explained all costs and add-on’s if applicable. He worked very well with our designer. Overall, this renovation was a very positive experience for my wife and me. We were referred to Renovation Experts by my daughter who had a very good experience with them as well. We feel extremely fortunate that we chose Renovation Experts.

Renovation Experts did a great job on our renovation. Stan Boigon was also our Project Manager and was always available to discuss and resolve any issues which is something we really appreciated. Our project was completed on time and to a high standard. I would not hesitate in hiring Renovation Experts again or in recommending them to others.

The work was very professional , timed and planned well and on schedule. The results were fabulous. Stan is the best.

We did a whole home renovation with Renovation Experts. This included finishing the basement with the addition of a washroom, new flooring throughout the house, a new kitchen, upgraded powder room, upgraded master bath, some walls/bulkheads moved to maximize space, the installation of pot lighting, and ending with an whole-home paint job. We could not have been happier with the quality of the work, and the attentive care and service we received. We decided to live in our house during the renovation. The team was very respectful of this choice, and took great strides to minimize disruption. Stan and his team obviously have tremendous pride in their work, which is reflected in the beautiful home we now get to enjoy. Most importantly, the job was finished on time and on budget. We have no hesitation in recommending Renovation Experts.

I would only suggest going to Renovation Experts in the following circumstances: (a) you want quality work done on time (b) you want a reliable, competitive quote that won't balloon, and (c) you want a responsive contractor that returns your calls and is easily accessible. If you don't care about those things and want the lowest possible price maybe this isn't the contractor for you. Yes, price is one of the factors and these guys are competitive, but the other factors they offer are far superior to their competitors. My best recommendation is that, after they finished my basement, I had them back 2 years later to renovate our main floor.

We hired Renovation Experts to complete the renovation of the main floor to our house. The work involved installing the ceramic and backsplash for a new kitchen, relocating plumbing to the new island, electrical work for undermount and in-cabinet lighting as well as new fireplace, replacing hardwood flooring, redoing the stairway and powder room, painting all the main floor and creating a 17-foot feature fireplace wall for our family room. Along the way, the project grew to also include replacing all the main floor doors and trim, the hardwood in the upstairs hallway, and the building of a new linen cabinet for the upstairs. Given the size of the renovation and knowing that it would take approximately three months to complete, we wanted to ensure that we hired someone reputable and who we could see ourselves working well with, especially if any problems arose. For these reasons we met with five general contractors. We were very impressed with Stan from our first meeting with him. Not only did we find him to be very knowledgeable and organized, but very personable too. Stan was always quick to respond to calls or emails and to provide suggestions when needed. Once the work began Dave, the site supervisor, was at our house almost everyday to ensure that everything went well. He was very professional and also well organized, he had great attention to detail, and made sure to always keep us informed about what would be going on next. Stan and Dave were in constant communication with each other to further assist with the coordination of everything. They have a wonderful group of trades people that they are involved with. We found all of them also to be very professional, polite and very good at what they do. We are thrilled with how every part of our renovation turned out and could not have hoped for things to have gone more smoothly. The renovation would of finished on time had it not been for the additions that we made. We would highly recommend Renovation Experts and have already done so to family and friends.
