Big water break while my house was being sold and not only did they respond immediately they completed the big project in 23 days. Highly recommend

I bought my first house last year, and my real estate agent recommended I work with Nick. He is a very patient man who listened to all my questions and answered them thoroughly. Nick made time for me and ensured we addressed all my concerns throughout the process. Together, we tackled a comprehensive list of repairs and upgrades based on the inspection report. Nick and his team handled the roof, windows, wood damage, and encapsulated the crawl space. We installed new vanities in the bathrooms, granite countertops in the kitchen and vanities, painted and sanded the kitchen cabinets, and put new knobs on all the doors. Additionally, we replaced all the electrical outlets, lighting, and doors, essentially giving the house a complete facelift. The only things we didn't update were the paint and floors. While working with Nick was very good overall, we did encounter some issues. There were instances of scope creep, which extended the timeline, and some communication breakdowns led to mistakes. Naturally, I was frustrated at times, but Nick handled these issues professionally. He fixed the problems and worked with me to ensure my satisfaction, which earned my great respect. A year after the project, I had an issue with termite inspections in the crawl space. Despite the time that had passed, Nick addressed and fixed the problem at no charge because he had done the original work. This demonstrated his commitment to his clients and his integrity. If you're considering working with Nick, I highly recommend him. He is fair, honest, and dedicated to making things right, even if mistakes occur. Many contractors promise they'll get it right the first time, but when things don't go according to plan, they struggle to handle it. Nick is different; he grows, learns, and listens. You're in good hands with him.

Renovation of rental property that was in dire need of updates. Nick gave us a lot of recommendations and updated us along the way of the renovations. It was as close to a total home remodel that you could do and he was very easy to work with.

My wife and I recently had a library and bar built by Raleigh Home Remodeling company, and we're thrilled with the finished product. The crew's craftsmanship and consistent attention to detail stood out. Nick did an exceptional job designing the project with us and staying in communication, The only area that came up a little short was timing - the project ended up spanning a few weeks longer than the estimate. We had a wonderful experience with Nick and his crew. We had a hot water tank floor and he got everything out back together quickly and efficiently. The project was fairly priced and they did excellent work. Nick was a pleasure to work with as well. We will definitely use them again and I recommend them to anyone!

We hired Nick as a general contractor for our new home remodel and were very disappointed. We chose to work with a general contractor because we wanted a good coordinator, communicator, and someone with expertise to check the work completed. Nick did not provide any of these benefits. He was incredibly difficult to contact throughout the process and there were several breakdowns in communication. Most of the workers he sent to our home were unable to communicate with us or on his behalf during times he was MIA. When we tried to call him we would receive an email response the next day (often not even responding to direct questions). Weeks after all work was supposed to have been completed, he decided to “swing by” to pick up his check. We insisted on a walkthrough of the “work” Nick had not yet even seen only to find that more than 50% of the items had not been fully completed. Although there were no apologies to us, he did send someone back to complete the work and that is the only reason he received 2 stars rather than 1. Working with Nick was a very stressful experience and we do not recommend hiring him or his company for your remodel.

I am highly satisfied with the outcome of all of the projects on my list which included electrical, plumbing and carpentry work. With the remodeling projects finished my new place truly feels like home.

I found Raleigh Home Remodeling through a property management company and was never so grateful. Of all the remodeling jobs I've done (and there were a few) this was by far the best experience I've ever had. I needed my bathroom totally renovated including walls, floor and all fixtures. The owner, Nick, was so easy to work with and his crew were exceptionally knowledgeable. They freely shared their advise and experience but included me in every decision along the way. I felt confident that my vision would be achieved and I was right. I love the end results. Big win for me because I now have a "go to" company that is priced right, does great work and gives you confidence that honest, reliable people are out there.

I had my stairs converted from carpet with would balusters to hardwood with metal balusters. I have never met a contractor that is so professional. All phases exceeded expectations! From always on time to cleanup! I am so happy that my wife and I are going use them for all of our home needs!!

Nick helped replace the roof on an older home we purchased. Also remodled a couple bathrooms for us. Was a good experience and we are very happy with the work done.
