After we built our new home and placed our existing furniture predictably up against the walls I knew I needed some professional help. We had a garage full of furniture we loved and didn't know where it would fit. I'm so glad I called Terri before I made the costly mistake of selling my garage full of furnishings. She listened to my desires and needs for function and surely delivered. Terri is able to envision a rooms full potential and gets so excited to make it happen. She moved my furniture in such a way I never could have imagined...all while using the furniture in the garage. I hired Terri Wise to stage a house I was selling last Fall. Then,because that went so well ( it sold in 3 weeks,in December, with multiple offers). and she was lovely to work with, I also hired her to design my new house, which is almost finished I can't say enough about Terri! She has amazing creativity, is flexible, thorough knowledge of the industry and trends, and, best of all, Terri is delightful to work with. She makes your project fun! I have worked with several designers in the past, but Terri Wise is the one I would work with again and recommend to my friends.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Terri Wise of Interior Makeovers during our office move and remodel. Terri designed the style and choose the colors of our new offices to create a modern vibe while maintaining the elegance of a well-established business environment. She recently transformed our entire office using existing art pieces in such creative ways that the pieces looked new to us. Terri is a genius, and I have worked with her probably 5 times now, over a period of 8 years. I first met her when I was staging a house to sell. It looked so good after she did it, I dropped a jaw when I saw it. Wow. I had to remind myself why I was leaving. No kidding, she transformed the place using my existing stuff, often placing furnishings and wall hangings in locations where I just would never have thought to put them. (After seeing my post-staged house, a good friend told me I was "crazy" to sell it -- still makes me laugh. Never got any comments like that before the staging!) Terri's very reasonable price well paid for itself -- I had a full price offer within 2 weeks of listing in an extremely difficult market. One year later she staged for one of my neighbors a block away; they got an offer even faster than I did. Plenty of designers have an eye for design, she has more than that. She excels at using stuff you already have to work miracles. She might suggest you get a lamp, plant, and/or pillows to help realize a vision, but she'll never try to persuade you to spend a lot of money on new furnishings. If you DO want new stuff, she will help with that too. She has coached me on purchases where I felt unsure of color or design. She will also shop on your behalf and find treasures for you if you want. Or, if you see something you love, a large vase, ottoman, whatever, but you're not sure where to put it, she can just "see" right away what a great place for it would be. She is also very skilled at selecting paint colors. Another thing Terri brings is fun. You might call her glamorous, so when I first met her I wondered if she'd be stiff or formal. Not at all. She's a native San Diegan, a cool local gal who has a lot of heart, very down to earth. She enjoys what she does and it shows. She's smart and energetic and she knows how to pull a house (or a room) together. Love her. Whether you want a new feel to your home using the furnishings you already have, or whether you want all new stuff, Terri delivers. I have never been a natural at interior design, and I am so glad I found Terri. Ten thousand thumbs up for Interior Makeovers.

We have had the privilege of working with Terri Wise on three office design projects over the past 10 years, the latest having been completed this month (March 2015). She is most professional and experienced. She works well with us in sharing ideas and possibilities. Terri Wise of Interior Makeovers worked with us on two occasions. She did a fabulous job helping us set up a our new house. When we added a room on to our home we asked her to come back and help with the new addition. She helped with matching the paint, floor, furniture, etc. but at the same time allowed our much loved antique furniture and unique artwork shine through.

Fantastic! I didn't realize I had so many "jewels" in my house until Interior Makeovers came in. Loved the placement of my furniture, lamps, pictures and accessories in both the living room and the family room. The ideas were uplifting., I also loved her patience with me. Interior Makeovers did an amazing job staging my home mostly with the existing furniture and some custom work that was needed to sell the house. I lived in La Costa and Terri came highly recommended and I followed up on others that used her services and decided "Interior Makeovers" was the best choice I ever made. The house looked amazing when I returned after a few days, I was almost rethinking about not selling when I came home, but needed to be back in Canada. I listed the ranch style home at a reasonable price of $799,000. The opening day brought in 14 bids and a bidding war went on and the house sold for $1,100,000. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! What a wonderful experience it was working with Terri of Interior Makeovers. She helped me with my daughter's room makeover and our living room makeover. She has great expertise in choosing paint colors to complement the design. She is very knowledgable in the area of furniture and picture placement to bring the room a fresh new look. After numerous attempts at trying to give my mom's somewhat "dated" living room the Wow Factor, I went online to find a professional to take over this task. This is when I found Terry, and boy am I pleased! She came in, sent mom away for the day and brought some much needed life into the home.
