April was thrown into a large mess on a quickly moving commercial project and masterfully navigated the various parties involved, brought clarity and organization to the process and project and quickly pulled together a cohesive and comprehensive design for the model unit, the community building and community area. I would highly recommend her services.

I used April Martini with Vivid Design Group for the major remodel and renovation of my Austin home. She assisted with the cohesive design and selection of materials for the remodel of the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, master closet and bathroom, guest bath, Jack and Jill bath, guest room, utility room, flooring and paint throughout and exterior. It was the best decision to retain April. She was professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. I appreciated that she listened to my preferences and she would bring me several options for each decision. April helped me navigate the choices and vendors, keep on schedule, and defend against budget busting recommendations. She is current on products and trends and offered good design judgement on what would or wouldn't work for a given situation. I would definitely recommend and use April again. April has worked with me on a master bath and a dining room and her work is spectacular. She listens to what you want and brings back ideas that fit your style but also offer you the chance to take it a little further or try something fresh and new. She is also working with me and with an architect on an addition to the house, and her work in that early design phase is incredibly helpful in shaping the project and taking it where I want it to go. April is great with budgets too and I can be very open with her about what I want to spend money on and what I don't. She is easy to talk to and very open. And finally, she is great with people who have busy schedules--she works within your time frame, can drop things at your home to review, meets painters or other workers. Perfect for those of us that want things to move along but have full time commitments elsewhere.

After purchasing an older home that needed updating, I contacted April with Vivid Design Group to come up with a paint palette and furniture plan. The complete interior was going to be painted and we also needed to purchase family room furniture. She is awesome at coming up with a color scheme and has great decorating ideas. We were out of town for most of the painting and April made several on-site visits to supervise and let us know of the progress. We have also been working together to order custom furniture for our oddly shaped family room. She has a keen eye and is very thoughtful about how the room will be used and is sensitive to our style and budget. April is very easy to work with, really listens and is prompt to respond to any questions. Our home is coming together beautifully and we are very thankful to April for being so great at what she does!

I was feeling at a loss with what to do with an awkward space and needed to work within a budget. The awesome ladies at Vivid Design swooped in created a plan and then helped me implement the plan over time as our budget allowed.

I worked with April from Vivid Design Group to freshen up my guest bedroom. When I first moved in, I did a few things on my own in my guest bedroom, but it never truly came together. In fact, I still had temporary paper blinds taped up! I hired April to help with window treatments, art placement, and accessory ideas and execution. She provided me with great ideas for window treatments and ordered the custom treatments. She was great about giving specific ideas for small touches within my budget. These small touches went a long way in making my room more cohesive. She definitely has a good eye for style, is very easy to work with, and quickly picks up on the style of the homeowner.
