Excellent from start to finish! We had a great experience with Monanich Design Firm. Freddy and the team remodeled our kitchen and bathroom, tearing out our old, unloved versions and transforming them, two short months later, into something that makes us happy every time we enter each room. Our previous kitchen was old fashioned and poorly laid out. In its place, we have a modern, spacious room that is efficiently laid out and a joy to spend time in. We're delighted with the quartz countertops and beautiful, custom-made, wooden cabinets. In the bathroom, Monanich maximized a relatively small place, replacing the traditional door with a sliding barn door, opening the room out, and expanding our shower area. We love our new cabinets. As for the job itself, we were really impressed with the quality of the work and the timely way it was carried out. The firm only takes on one job at a time, which meant there were no delays. We always felt that we had the full attention of the team. Freddy managed the project from start to finish; he was communicative and easy to deal with. Amber masterminded the design side; she was so helpful in guiding our ideas and helping us choose everything from tiles to faucets to towel rails. Roman was in charge of the construction and you couldn't hope for a more trustworthy person to work in your home; a truly dedicated professional. Sergio is a real craftsman who did a wonderful job building and installing our cabinets. And Pasha was our go-to guy for the day-to-day construction. We truly appreciated his methodical approach, hard work, and attention to detail. Having construction work done in your house can be a stressful experience, particularly when two such important rooms as your kitchen and bathroom are out of action for an extended period. But I can honestly say that Monanich made the whole project pain-free. And, most important of all, we are delighted with the results.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Monanich Design Firm. We are very pleased with the results. From the preliminary consultations to the final installation, Freddy, Amber, Roman, Sergio and the entire Monanich team were communicative and professional. Amber, who led the design, really listened to us and understood the needs of our busy family. She offered excellent advice and recommendations that aligned with our style and budget. She incorporated existing elements from our home to create a chic, contemporary design with a functional layout. The color palette of our kitchen is absolutely stunning and harmonizes the interior and exterior of our home. I am thrilled with her design! Roman’s construction team is responsive, respectful and tidy. They consistently cleaned up after themselves and let us know beforehand when construction would be loud. The construction caused very little disruption which we greatly appreciated since we routinely work from home. The craftsmanship is top-notch and the project was completed timely and within budget. The end result is an elegant kitchen that enhances the quality of our daily lives.

I recently had Monanich Designs redo my kitchen and bathroom, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! The team was professional and super attentive to every little detail. The kitchen is now a perfect mix of function and style. The layout is more efficient, the materials are top-notch, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It feels bigger, brighter, and totally fits my taste. The bathroom is now a luxurious, spa-like retreat. We did a complete kitchen remodel with Monanich in February-March and are extremely happy with the results! I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and had started my shopping process last summer but was having a hard time bringing it all together and knowing where to begin. By far the best aspect of working with Monanich was its contractors. Freddy has a talent for choosing reputable and excellent professionals. This was our first time using a general contractor to coordinate a remodel, as we have been major DIY’ers in the past. After talking to others who had done remodeling jobs, we were aware that all contractors are not created equal. However, Freddy’s crews are true professionals and craftsmen and not only do they do excellent work but they are respectful, trustworthy and pleasant to work with. From Roman and Pasha on the general construction end and Roman’s crews who did the granite and tiling to Sergio and Jesus and crews on the cabinetry building and installation end, we are so very happy with the quality of the work done and how everything turned out. When there were issues needing corrections, each of them took care of things quickly and satisfactorily. Amber was helpful in the design and decision-making processes and was generous in sharing discounts she had access to (as was Freddy) and connecting us with a great supplier for our plumbing needs, Granite Bay Plumbing. I appreciated the fact that she didn’t try to talk me into trendy materials or styles and had a good sense of what would work well in my home after our initial consultation. Freddy did a great job of coordinating various aspects of the project and making sure each phase of the job was done on time. We did NOT have problems with contractors not showing up when scheduled as so many others I had spoken to did with their projects. As with any project of this scope, there were some issues that required negotiation and compromise by both parties. The main area I feel Monanich could do better is in communication and documentation of discussions and agreements made and provide more detailed contracts. They were very good about replying to calls, texts and emails promptly but sometimes lacking in following up on requests and inquiries about specific features to include in the project. If I could give a rating between full numbers, I would rate the overall experience a 4.5 because of this issue. However, since they did work with us and were willing to make things right and the end result was so positive, I chose a rating of 5. I acknowledge that I am not the easiest client to work with, having high expectations and specific opinions and my own ideas. Overall, I am very glad we chose Monanich and would highly recommend them. I would just advise that if you use them, you ask lots of clarifying questions along the way and require written summaries of meetings and discussions so that you are on the same page with expectations and costs. You will not regret choosing Monanich!

All of the people we met at Monanich, Freddie and Roman especially, did super work, as promptly as the circumstances permitted and the result has been that our bathrooms and kitchen are architectural magazine-worthy. All were friendly and very responsive, even to our most nit-picky requests!

We were extremely pleased with our kitchen remodel and flooring. Freddy (Monanich) and Roman (All in One) make a great team. I highly recommend this firm. Here is my impression: Predictable and Transparent: We always felt informed and there were no budget surprises. Innovative and Thoughtful: The team provided new, creative ideas to help us accomplish our goals. Our cabinets, for example, were designed specifically for our needs and have several unique features. Diligent and Polite: Most of the work at our house was performed by All in One while the cabinets were being built off-site. Over the course of the project, each of the workers was polite and respectful, hard working, and friendly. They were all skilled at their craft and were able to make adjustments in real time. Good Value and Premium Service: We researched many different companies before going with Monanich and All in One. We were able to accomplish all of our goals at the price we were willing to pay. Other quotes seemed less reliable with the potential for high costs for unexpected changes. Personalized: I felt that we absolutely had the attention of both Freddy and Roman at all times. They responded very quickly anytime we texted with a question or thought, and were able to help us realize the new ideas that came up during the remodel. Both are very likable and laser focused on providing great work product.

I was the interior designer on this project in Citrus Heights. Monanich Design Firm Kitchen & Bath were incredible to work with. Freddy, Roman and their entire crew have a fine attention to detail. They deliver a quality product with great communication throughout the project on time and on budget. My clients were over the moon with the end result. The firm is the only firm I work with and feel comfortable referring my clients to. I cannot recommend the firm enough.

Freddy listened to what I wanted and my kitchen was designed to my specifications. The custom cabinets are beautiful! Couldn't ask for a more responsive and communicative contractor than Roman of All in One Construction.

Monanich Design Firm did an excellent job from the beginning to the end. Freddy helped with the design of the bathroom, phase 1. The process was easy and Freddy and his team was very easy to work with. Freddy would listen to my wants and needs and give me other suggestions and ideas of what I might like. The sub contractors were excellent. When I had a question, they would give me an answer or if they didn't know the answer they would ask. Since we work from home, the team was very accommodating and flexible with our needs. The job was completed in a timely manner. We hired the team to take on phase 2 of our remodel. The existing master bedroom will eventually be a guest bedroom so we had the contractors sheet rock one of the closets to make a linen closet in the hallway and had the master bathroom and master bedroom repainted. The room looks so different, it's amazing. After the beautiful job was completed, we decided to hire Freddy and his licensed contracting team for our major remodel. We have been working with a draftsman to create plans to submit to the county for permits. We are very excited to get the remodel started. The house will be spectacular when its all complete. We are very happy with how our kitchen turned out. Everyone we worked with was friendly and responded quickly to messages, emails, etc. We were extremely impressed with the tile installer. He did an amazing job working with difficult, handmade tiles. Extremely happy to have the beautiful kitchen we dreamed of having.

I had been calling everywhere, we kept getting turned down due to the amount of work, a unique situation, and the budget I was working with. Freddy called me back right away, I explained our budget, and situation. He didn’t just take on the job with a already full schedule, but they offered to help my family, and really worked with the budget we had. He really went above and beyond every time we talked, and in everything he did for us. He and this company are truly a blessing to our community! He was with us every step of the way, and further. Mr. Cohan of Monach design came to my home to look at my present kitchen and to speak with me about what updates I required. Mr. Cohan was able to show me different styles of cabinets and to explain the different quality. I met Mr. Cohan at a store to look at the many kinds of counter tops. He was able to tell me what materials they were made of and how each one performed. He than sent me a drawing of what would work in my kitchen if I approved. The sub-contractors worked hard and I have to thank them for the many projects that they had to do because my kitchen was 49 years old. The job was completed in much less time than I had thought. This company goes above what most companies would do, including patiently answering my questions and helping me pick out colors.

Monach Design did a spectacular job remodelling my kitchen and bathroom. I am beyond happy with how beautiful my custom cabinets and quartz countertops look. The quality of work is great. Freddy’s crew completed the project in the time frame as promised without compromising quality. I will definitely use this company for any future projects.

No words to describe how my kitchen turned out!! More than amazing, it’s like the best place of my house… Freddie is the best!! Literally. Everything he said would happen it did!! We had 3 meetings to discuss design, planning and scheduling. He explained very detailed on how the process would be and he delivered in a smooth way. He would answer my calls at night and text messages and we built a trust relationship. My next project will be done with them FOR SURE!! Not only that, he referred to me the best subcontractor to build my custom made shelf’s and laundry room barn door!

We are incredibly happy with our kitchen remodel and the service, workmanship and design guidance provided by Monach. From the beginning, the owner Freddy Cohan was very engaged with the project and showed interest and a vision of what our project could achieve with the given budget. He took the time to discuss the design, the range of options within our budget, and made knowledgeable recommendations that were important to the outcome. Freddy has a good eye for design and layout. He has creative solutions, and thinks about the whole house rather than just the narrow project. Monach coordinated meetings with his team of sub-contractors and cabinet suppliers and kept the project moving in a timely manner. Freddy has a great team of people and only works with licensed contractors - basically people who are top notch, honest, and know what they are doing. In addition, he takes ownership and cares about the outcome. It's not just a job. The result is that Monach transformed not only our kitchen, but our whole downstairs and without going over the budget. There were no problems and the project was completed without any delay. And we were not surprised by any additional cost - everything that was written in the contract was delivered on (and more). They truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend Monach and look forward to working with them again!
