I didn’t hire an architect when I built my first salon because I didn’t understand the convoluted and complex road that I was about to embark on. I say that because I learned the hard way and spent countless hours and money correcting the build out due to a poorly thought design provided by my contractor. Going forward I will never go without a professional plan and design. About a year ago I bought a large rectangular building with zero personality for what would now be my second Salon. I interviewed several architects and because the construction world is booming was turned down saying my job was too small for them. But I didn’t want to settle so I kept searching. I did a lot of research and hunting for the right person. A developer in town told me to check out Cam Minor. I learned that Cam worked for a radically progressive firm in Denver. It was clear this firm thought outside the box and pushed limits. I learned that Cam designed and built award winning masterpieces in bustling downtown Denver. He also worked as the project manager on most of their jobs. We met at the building and I shared my thoughts and needs. He was building a custom home in Idaho at the time but still took on my little project. I was surprised considering his experience. I mentioned to him that I had been turned down by several architects. He smiled and said small spaces were so fun and that the possibilities were endless. He was so humble and kind. I had high expectations and he exceeded all of them. Cam is a problem solver, he is quick to get you information, ideas and answers. He is extremely organized and professional. His knowledge of the commercial building guidelines and codes is very impressive. Cam designs and builds all of his projects. This is a rare combination in the industry and extremely helpful. Cam is extremely creative, his ideas blew my mind. If my ideas where not practical or possible he would find a solution. Nothing in my salon is ordinary, and is truly a work of art. The response I see every time someone sees the space for the first time is priceless. Leaving this review was so important to me because you don’t meet people like Cam Minor. He is exceptional at what he does. I obviously can’t say enough. He just gets the job done! Plain and simple. I promise he will not disappoint Highly recommend!

My wife and I have worked with Cam on multi projects his patience, creativity and professionalism are unparalleled. The years he spent in design/build provided him the ability to design a buildable not a impossible project, always keeping the budget in mind.
