“Wendy Marquis is an amazing artist whose work I have admired for a long time. My husband's family has an old farm truck which he loves; it is the only thing he hopes to inherit in the future. Since it is not going to make the journey to Montana anytime soon, I commissioned Wendy to paint it for him. She accurately and beautifully captured the truck's likeness, its spirit (if that is possible), and the landscape of his family's farm. We have the painting showcased centrally in our living room. It enhances our space beautifully and is a talking point of many gatherings. My husband has told many stories about riding around in that farm truck (Black Beauty) with his grandpa...stories I never did hear...until the painting was hanging in our living room. Wendy was so easy to work with. She is thorough, kind, and pays careful attention to detail. She made certain I was happy with her work every step of the way and was able, I think, to maintain her artistic style and integrity. Wendy is an incredible artist, professional business woman, and completes work she is proud to display. I would work with Wendy again, and would fill my home with her work if I could. I tell everyone I can about her. Her studio/business on Main Street in Belgrade, as well as her website, contains many affordable and fun pieces of her work such as cards, belt buckles, Christmas ornaments, and mugs...to name a few. I have purchased many for gifts, but have kept lots of them as I like them so much, I don't want to give them away. Therefore, her work is part of my life everyday. It makes me smile. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
