“So we moved into our forever home in May 2022. It is a new build so we had a totally blank canvas. We knew we wanted a bespoke designed garden as we have no skills or time to do it ourselves. We had some basic ideas of what we wanted. ‘Must haves’ for us was a sunken area, water feature of some type, space for entertaining & mature trees & good lighting for evenings. It was important that we had environmentally friendly materials & the planting had to attract pollinators. Dave did his homework & we finally decided on APT for two reasons it was a local independent family run business & seemed to be very professional. After Matthew visited us & he saw our space, we sat down with him to discuss our ideas, what we liked, what we didn’t like our interests & lifestyle & we wanted the garden to do for us. As soon as he had gone away to draw up the plans, we instantly knew we had 100% made the right decision - we were so relaxed with Matthew, like we had known him for years. We were confident that we had chosen the right company. When he came back with the plans we were blown away - he nailed it first time! Can you imagine the delight a goth gets hearing the words ‘we need you to paint your fences black’? Happy days! So we went ahead & never looked back… all the way through the whole process Matthew kept regular contact & visited often ensuring we were happy with everything. APT’s whole team are a wonderful bunch.. Harvey, Paul & Jeff were absolutely brilliant, such grafters and standard of work is first class, always so polite & friendly. We had a good laugh with them & when they had finished the project & left us we really, genuinely missed them…lovely, lovely people. Now it was not the biggest garden project APT have done, in-fact in terms of square footage it could be considered small, but it was a challenge (very, very heavy compacted clay), very detailed & high end finish with 3 very mature trees installed & lots of planting, water feature, lighting, decking, porcelain patios & sunken area. We wanted this garden to be extension of our beautiful home & to reflect our personalities & this was delivered way beyond our expectations! We adore this space, it has such an amazing vibe, it’s vibrant & stylish best of all we get loads of little visitors, Bees, butterflies, gorgeous Dragon Flies & the bats swoop around in the evenings. Our big visitors (friends) without exception absolutely love it! Oh yeah & loads of our friends are painting their fences black too, as they agree with Matthew - it makes everything POP! And it really does….thank you APT you are an amazing team of talented wonderful people.”

“Dreamscape overhauled our garden during 2017. They began by doing a very good job of interpreting my rough sketches to create a raised beds veggie garden and extending the kids footy pitch, and then designer Martin got involved to create for us our perfect family patio area, with huge structural steel planters to separate the levels. Over the years they've done all sorts for us, extensive ground works with diggers and dumpers, installed lots of fencing, laid multiple shed bases, built paths, built a tiered patio, commissioned steel planters, made raised beds and laid turf - everything except for the planting really, because that's the bit I enjoy. Dan is very easy to do business with; transparent when it comes to the finances, very straight forward and flexible (there are inevitably obstacles and plan changes), and, importantly for me, he is passionate about gardens and plants. Designer Martin very patiently made many revisions to his initial plans to take account of our needs.. I'm sure it must have been frustrating for him at times (though he never showed it!) but in the end they were perfect for us and I think the design he came up with will get even better with time. Tom, Billy and Kyle are a friendly, hard working and tidy bunch who really know their stuff about construction and do a quality job using quality materials and are respectful of neighbours property when doing jobs that affect both sides of the fence. Dreamscape have never been our cheapest quote but our garden is important to us and we didn't want a cheap job. We look forward to spending lots of time outdoors in the garden this year and I will be getting Dreamscape back to work their magic on my front garden later this year.”
