Everyone told me it was irreparable, and for all these years I have endured every single person who sat in my passenger seat utter: 'what on earth happened to your dash?!!' (not just once, but each time they sat in my car!), reminding me over & over of my careless moment sliding a box with a metal weathervane protruding across my front seat all those years ago.
