Professional. Reliable. Personable. We hired IKAG for a major home reno and they made the entire process an easy and fun experience. From the design phase to clean up, we were in excellent hands. Their customer care is exceptional and extremely family friendly. Our house was transformed to a degree we did not think possible. We cannot wait to use IKAG for our next project!

I highly recommend this company - they were friendly, approachable and helpful from start to finish and I have no complaints about any of the tradesmen they brought in - and I was living in the basement the whole time they were renovating my main floor. I am delighted with the work done - on time and on budget.

IKAG did a fantastic job refreshing my new condo, and everything was on-time and on-budget. Both Christy and Jesse are consummate and exacting professionals. IKAG provided impeccable service. Their professionalism allowed us to live while they turned our basement into a beautiful, liveable space. They were also passionate about our needs and helped us fine tune our vision. There was no stress for us during the entire process.

I Know A Guy Renovations finished the project on time and on budget! That's high praise for any renovation project. I appreciated that they had the contractors walk-through - an arranged meeting before the renovation started to have each trade review the plans and then walk the project. This not only introduced us to each person who would be working in our house but also allowed us to become aware of exactly what was going to be involved in the work. A renovation is a disruption and I Know A Guy kept excellent communication throughout the work. I have already recommended them to people I know that are looking to complete a renovation.

This is our second time using I Know A Guy renovations and both times the experience has exceeded our expectation. They were very thorough in their cost breakdown and schedule and they were willing to help us find ways to complete the project to our standards while also working within our set budget. They are a great team and we look forward to working with them again.

Our renovation is just beautiful. Jesse, Christy and their team helped up plan the "face lift" to our house in Lakeview Village and it was so crucial to have their expertise. Their suggestions were invaluable and they spent many months and reiterations of the scope of work until it was nailed down to the final tile. We left them the keys and disappeared for the winter and returned to basically a new home. The workmanship from their trades was impeccable. Thank you for our new "old" home. We love it

We have hired Jesse for two projects now and will do so again! I Know a Guy is very organized, follows timelines, stays on budget but most importantly is nice. All of the contractors, site manager and office staff (Christy) are awesome to deal with. They are all very approachable and friendly. Our girls loved watching them work and they were great with them. It was not an inconvenience at all to have them in our home for a few weeks. (We missed them when they were all gone.) They cared more about the cleanliness of our home while they were working than we ever do! We would highly recommend I Know A Guy and are willing to speak with anyone if they would want more information about our experience. Our finished basement has been great and the girls love it even though we didn't paint it all pink!

We recently had the I Know A Guy Team complete a renovation of our master suite, including the ensuite and walk-in closet. We were extremely pleased with the process and the outcome. We were very impressed with the team that Jesse and Christy have put together. Designer Yvonne Choe and site supervisor Craig Day were both excellent, all of the sub trades were courteous and conscientious and worked well together. The quality of workmanship, and attention to detail throughout the project was excellent. We were also pleased with the regular communication we received from Jesse, Christy and Craig. We were also grateful that the team at I know a Guy were willing to let us take on some aspects of the project that we felt competent to do ourselves – which resulted in cost savings to us. The project schedule that was provided at the outset, was very closely followed, and when there were deviations or schedule changes, we were promptly notified. There were a few change orders that arose during the course of the project, and I Know A Guy was able to make these changes on the fly. I Know A Guy was able to take our dream and vision for our master suite and make it a reality. Without reservation, we would recommend the services of I Know A Guy to anyone who is contemplating a home renovation.

This was a great experience. I had heard so many horror stories about renos that doing one was a major concern. Jessie, Christy, Craig and their team made the process so easy. Things were done on time, on budget and worry free. I would recommend IKAG to anyone looking to make major or minor changes to their home. Although we are happy the reno is over we will miss their positive and helpful attitude to getting it done.

I contacted IKAG about a kitchen refresh. I had a kitchen island I referred to as "awful and inappropriate" that I wanted reconfigured. At this same time I wanted to convert a small broom closet to a coffee station. There are a couple of things that stand out about this project and working with IKAG. They have a strong commitment to providing an awesome project and a great customer experience. Renovations of all sizes are disruptive. There are always unforeseen items to throw the schedule off. One of the things I loved about working with this team was how quickly they identified those items, and how quickly they let me know that a solution was in the works. The impressive part, was that I had this information before I even knew there was a problem. It speaks so highly to their customer commitment. They showed care in preparing the area, keeping the dust down, cleaning up daily so I was able to use the kitchen, and generally being an absolute delight to work with. I learned from this renovation that by taking the time to plan (introduction to the company and the process, design meeting, trades walk through), it makes the whole renovation as smooth as can be hoped for. The delays and errors were minor, and the quality was exceptional. They gave me the kitchen refresh I was hoping for and were a pleasure to work with. I would use them again for future projects, and recommend without reservation.

IKAG is great to deal with; on time, on budget, friendly and respectful. The whole team and their trades were lovely to deal with, nice to my kids and patient with my dog.
