Jeff and his JKF Construction team built our new home. It was a large new build, highly modern. Jeff has lots of experience building houses with basements which was important for us. Justin his project manager is highly organized and professional. JKF is not a large operation and are able to be attentive and hands on which was key for us. Most importantly they're honest and conduct with professional integrity. I would recommend for any size project like the fact they would work with the client to ensure each trait is suitable for each specific task.

I've worked with Jeff and his team on two separate remodels. Each time they listened to the design direction set by us and worked hard to create our vision. They were prompt and communicative. For the most recent remodel, the client lived in the space while they were in construction. His team was always respectful of the client and their needs. They developed solutions when needed, and made recommendations for additional work that was needed to complete the job. I would recommend JKF Construction for my future clients.

In 2004, Jeff added a master bedroom and bathroom to our house. He did fantastic work, and pushed successfully to finish the project before our second child was born. This addition has a vaulted ceiling and large bay window looking out onto our back garden. The addition took about 2 months to complete. We loved Jeff's work so much, we hired him again in 2014 to transform three rooms (kitchen, dining room, laundry room) and a screened patio into a beautiful great room, with a new laundry room and half bath. (Pictures of the new great room attached.) Jeff and his crew keep the work site tidy, they pass city inspections handily, and are a joy to work with. Our new great room includes a large L-shaped kitchen with natural cherry cabinetry, black quartz countertops, and a glass tile backsplash; a dining area; and a living room area. It has a vaulted ceiling, with recessed lighting, and lovely arched windows and an arched french door along the garden side. Another arched window is over the farmhouse sink in the kitchen, and the doorways leading into the great room are also arched. The red oak hardwood floors original to the house are seamlessly joined with the new great room floor. Craftsmanship and attention to detail are hallmarks of Jeff's work. This great room project took about 6 months to complete. When the great room remodel was done, we contracted with Jeff for a third project -- to rescue our 1930's beach house. Extensive work was done, including: installation of a perimeter foundation (which involved jacking up house), completely new electrical and plumbing, a new kitchen, all new windows and casings, and lots of cosmetic work (new sheetrock, interior/exterior paint, refinished floors, new doors, new baseboards). The front porch also had to be completely rebuilt, and a corner of a bedroom closet was converted to make room for a washer and dryer. In all of their work, Jeff and his crew were able to maintain the charm of the beach house cottage while making it safe, beautiful, and functional. This project spanned about 6 months.

Jeff is an excellent contractor! The quality of his work is superior. He is fair priced, and shows up to the job site each and every day on time! His stays on schedule and gives a finish date. He cleans up the work site and keeps everything well organized! Very honest and trustworthy!

Jeff of JKF Construction remodeled the first floor of my home. He provided a clear and accurate estimate. The work was done on schedule in a safe and professional manner. I moved my kitchen to the back of my house, moved the front door and created an entryway. I am delighted with the finished project.
