Robert is one of the most thoughtful and gracious people I've met. One of the best things about him is he is incredibly passionate about what he does and that gets carried through to the final result of a project. His creative solutions and impeccable attention to detail are such a joy to witness. An example, after visiting my basement that has a lot of high and inaccessible storage space he came up with a plan and executed for me the most incredibly elegant ten foot ladder made out of cedar. It is a true work of art.

Working with Robert was amazing! After many attempts to find a contractor to help us with our Master Suite, we decided to put our faith in RPR Builders and he (they) did not fail!

Robert is incredible. Knowledgeable, experienced, and an excellent craftsman. He knows his stuff! As first-time homebuyers we needed help and Robert came to the rescue. He always treated us with respect, no condescension. When we didn't know something, he'd explain calmly and clearly and made sure we knew why he was suggesting things. Robert took the time needed to make sure the job was done right the first time. We'd hire him in a heartbeat. No doubts, no hesitation.

Robert was wonderful to work with. He is both a craftsman and a professional, with a deep appreciation for wood and design. . The challenge was to create a traditional looking craftsman fireplace for a remodel of a 1923 seattle home. But bring in the beauty and glow of glass tiles! We worked closely together on the design. I gave him photos of fireplaces I liked, and didn't like, and he drew up some concepts, we chose one, which he did up in CAD, chose wood with the straight grain (quarter sawn, hard to find), and then templated the whole thing because the floor is uneven, and nothing at right angles in this old house. The result is stunning. Exactly what I wanted and more. He's a delight to work with, and cares about details.

Robert has done several jobs for us in the past, the most recent being stripping out the sills and casing strips on a number of very large picture window frames, so that the glass could be replaced with new double pane, then replacing the sills and retaining strips, and then painting the window casings and walls in the affected rooms. Robert’s work is always impeccable, and his knowledge and strategizing in how to deal with repair, rebuilds and remodeling in older homes is extensive. We know we can trust him to have great ideas, but to also be flexible when needed with regard to our ideas. He finishes jobs in a timely manner, and thoroughly cleans the job site after; during the job he will stay in contact and let you know what’s happening day by day. I can’t recommend him any more highly!
