Shawn did a phenomenal job remodeling my house. Shawn is extremely patient, professional and organized. Shawn has a great eye for design and I also appreciated his attention to detail. He has put together an amazing team of people that take true pride in their craft. I was so happy with every aspect of the project from tile, paint, carpentry, etc. Shawn and his foreman Cody made sure that I was completely happy with every part of the home improvement project. They turned my house into my dream home!

Shawn helped me with a very small but equally complicated project. He and his team were excellent listeners and collaborators which was critical to solving the framing and detail challenges. They mocked up parts from scrap wood to make sure everything looked right and functioned properly. Finally, their craftsmanship was first rate; they took great pride in their work. I began the pain staking task of finding a contractor to remodel my house. Since I am new to the area I did not know anyone who could provide a recommendation. I began researching online and came across many businesses who immediately told me that they had a long waiting list, or charged a fee to come out and give an estimate. However, I did eventually have several contractors who responded and actually came to my home. However, after meeting Shawn Collard I immediately knew he was the one! He was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable.(He even took the time to speak with my father who is in construction himself and was concerned about me getting taken advantage of). That being said, the job that this company did was beyond what I dreamed of and could have hoped for. They went above and beyond to fix any problems that arose, and were even accommodating when I found things I wanted to add on to the job. I already have them scheduled to do another small project, and will definitely call on them for any future remodeling endeavors.

Shawn and his team did an excellent job on our home remodel! We have a very unconventional and modern home with a flat roof. This was a very complicated project but Shawn tackled the challenge with confidence, patience and grace to achieve the exact look we were going for. With a tight budget, Shawn was very conscious about finding creative ways to stay within budget and communicated those changes with us before moving forward. If at any time we wanted to make a change, Shawn was always one call away when we needed him and would happily make the changes we wanted. Shawn has a great eye for design and incorporated some creative ideas such as our board formed concrete planter. In the end, Shawn met all of our expectations, our budget and did not walk away until we were 100% satisfied.

I highly recommend Shawn. He and his team completed a significant remodel of our 1928 home. Mixing updated ideas and fixtures with the vintage of the house came out great. Shawn was easy to work with. We were out of state, but put our trust in him, and it paid off. He was very responsive, professional and did high quality work. Our kitchen was dark dingy and outdated. It had low ceilings. We live in a 70's house that needed a modern touch especially to the kitchen. Shawn Collard Construction breathed new life in our dark cubby of a kitchen. From design and choices of finishes Mr Collard was key in the shaping of our new kitchen. Demolition went smoothly with priority given to cleaning the job site daily. As the construction began with us living in the house workers were considerate to not disturb us. As the finished product took shape we were delighted with quality of the craftmenship. Attention to detail was evident from the porcelian tile floors to custom installation of cabinets and the extra detail to finishes. As the project progressed Mr Collard was always willing to enhance the design of the finished product. The finished project far exceededour expectation. Shawn is a joy to work with! He has the eye of a designer blended with the skill of a contractor. I hired him to do a major remodeling project on my home and it turned out beautifully. I had Shawn renovate my bathroom in my small two bedroom one bath house. I held off for years for the renovation because I was concerned about not having a bathroom for a long time. I have heard nightmare stories of bathroom renovations. Shawn assured me that he could do it in under two weeks. He actually did the renovation in under a week and a half. It was like I had no burden at all with the renovation. The craftsmanship was top class and his subs that do the work were grade A. The tile sub did an amazing job and Shawn's knack for clean detailing made the bathroom wonderful. The other wonderful part was that he quoted me the price at the beginning and at the end the price was lower because Shawn knew how to get good deals and prices on fixtures as well as countertop surfaces. All the pricing was transparent and I appreciated it. I highly recommend Collard Construction. I hope to do some more work in the future with Collard Construction.

Shawn recently remodeled my house in it's entirety. My houses had never been remodeled prior to my taking possession and was built in the 80's. Shawn's attention to design and willing to take the house out of the box, without breaking the bank, is truly an art.
