Scott Wacker and his team did excellent, professional work on the inside and outside of the home we purchased in southeast Portland. They revamped the lighting inside the house, built a new wall in the basement to create a pantry/wine cellar, repaired a rotting outside beam, built a fence to enclose the backyard along with planting boxes, and paved the backyard. Scott and his team were unfailing polite and tried their best to get work done expeditiously despite the hard winter we Portlanders endured this past winter. We sincerely recommend Scott Wacker and his great team!

Scott Wacker's team is very high caliber and Scott is a high integrity, personable individual that I highly trust. in our situation, Scott used his experience and analytical abilities to understand and fix a problem that others had missed. I have been very pleased with the work done by Wacker Remodel. Scott Wacker is a very knowledgable and reliable contractor who has been very helpful in all phases of the projects, large and small, he has done for me over the last 4-5 years. Scott was perhaps the most helpful in the planning stages, offering ideas and solutions to problems that I would not have known or thought to research. The overall quality of the work has been excellent. The subcontractors Scott works with are top notch, producing the highest quality work. In only one case was I disappointed in the result of some concrete work and I asked Scott to look at it. When he and the concrete project manager agreed it was not up to his standards, the work was redone to his and my satisfaction. The work he has personally done as well as that of his direct employees has been excellent, from minor bathroom upgrades to a full kitchen remodel and exterior siding rejuvenation, repair, stripping and painting. The final results were fantastic. And again, there were points along the way in the projects where Scott's (or his subs) ideas or suggestions added greatly to the final result. Things that would not have occurred to me to include or change. And at every point, Scott has been very up front with the expected costs and options. The final costs have always been in line with estimates and his billing statements were easy to follow (with some initial help with interpretation of the statements). There were no surprise costs. Scott has always been easy to communicate with, mostly via email, but also by text and phone when more convenient. He is responsive to concerns and expectations. In one case, when a subcontractor crew left a pile of scrap lumber in the yard, I emailed Scott to request that it be cleaned up by the weekend. When I returned home from work on Friday and it was not, I texted a picture to Scott expressing my disappointment and the pile was gone by 9:00 Saturday morning. I think my only criticism for Wacker Remodel is that some projects took longer than initially projected and there were days when nothing got done, perhaps due to scheduling problems or their general work load. I have on several occasions told Scott, "You've got to hire more workers to get things done sooner and move on to the next project and make more money!" I think perhaps Scott's desire to personally monitor each project is limiting, but maybe that is the best way to maintain his standard of work. Overall, I would highly recommend Wacker Remodel and will call Scott for my next project.

We hired Scott for our master bath remodel and were very pleased with the entire scope of the project. Scott was very easy to work with as were his subs. We are thrilled with the new bathroom!

I had two bathrooms completely renovated by Wacker Remodel. The design was created by an Interior Designer and fully implemented by Wacker. The results are exact to the design drawings and the estimate was almost exact to the final cost. Scott is easy to reach, professional and a skilled craftsman.
