“I could not recommend Steph highly enough ! We completed a medium sized house renovation and extension last year. Steph knowledge and contacts were invaluable and her calm support and insightful suggestions were invaluable. She provided exactly the service we needed being somewhere between the architect and the builder and her eye for detail was hugely helpful. Steph knowledge of suppliers, and her ability to source materials was great. At the beginning of the project she listened to what we wanted and provided exactly that!”

“We returned to Guernsey in 2018 from the UK having purchased a property in 2014 with the idea of demolishing it and designing our own home. We were excited especially as this was our first attempt at such a project, which would be registered as class 5 for business as well as domestic use. However who to turn to? Who do we rely on to carry out this work. We didn’t know anyone or have contacts! We asked around, spoke to many friends and gradually after meeting builders and professionals we met with Gary Naftel and Laura Priaulx our Architect. With our own business to run and not enough hours in the day or proper expertise we found in Naftel Associates a person who would project manage our building with wisdom, hard work, perseverance and sensitivity to the way we thought. Gary listened to our ideas and frustrations, always making sure we paid a fair price and made sure the other disciplines worked according to the plans always using the highest quality materials. Gary worked well employing our Architect as part of the team. He always had time for us and went beyond the call of duty. We are thrilled with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend Naftel Associates and wish them every success as they join with Houzz.”

“We teamed up with Simon when the project to develop our 19th century, poorly built and neglected family cottage was making very slow progress with our initial choice architect / project manager. Immediately the project regained its momentum. The brief was to create a modern, open interior while retaining the traditional cottage exterior. Simon presented us with imaginative plans which completely eliminated the small, dark rooms and hallway spaces of the old interior and replaced them with space which we didn’t believe was possible. At all times he listened to our ideas/wishes and came back to us promptly with ways that they might be incorporated into the scheme within our set budget. He clearly understood what we were looking for but gave us the sympathetic, professional guidance which was needed at times! Four years on and we still marvel at the home that Simon created for us and would happily welcome anyone who is considering engaging Simon to create their home to come around and see for themselves.”
